Biodegradowalny, polimerowy system miejscowego uwalniania leku do zastosowania w leczeniu chorób przyzębia, stanowiący wysokoelastyczne, wytrzymałe mechanicznie kompozytowe matryce w postaci typoszeregu, pierścieni i/lub owalnych kształtek, których wymiary są związane z budową anatomiczną i wielkością zębów ludzkich charakteryzuje się tym, że stanowi kompozyt zbudowany z matrycy polimerowej; tworzącej biodegradowalne i biokompatybilne alifatyczne poliestrowęglany i alifatyczne poliwęglany lub/i ich mieszaninę, korzystnie poli(e-kaprolakton -CO- węglan trimetylenu) o zawartości kaproilu od 30 do 85% molowych lub/i alifatyczne poliwęglany, korzystnie poli(węglan trimetylenu - CO- węglan neopentylu) o zawartości komonomeru trimetylowęglanu od 50 do 90% molowych, korzystnie otrzymywane w syntezie prowadzonej metodą eliminującą obecność toksycznych metali w finalnym produkcie, przy czym wypełniaczem zdyspergowanym lub/i rozpuszczonym w matrycy jest antybiotyk rozpuszczalny w wodzie; korzystnie z grupy tetracyklin (tetracyklina, doksycyklina); lub/i antyseptyk, korzystnie chlorheksydyna lub/i metronidazol lub/i triklosan, a zawartość stosowanego leku, wynosi od 5% wagowych do 30% wagowych masy całkowitej kompozytu, korzystnie od 10% wagowych do 20% wagowych, i jest dobierana tak, aby zapewnić jednocześnie odpowiednio wysokie stężenie uwalnianego leku w kieszonce dziąsłowej, pozwalające na wyeliminowanie patogennych bakterii, będących przyczyną schorzenia, a zarazem utrzymując zadawalającą elastyczność i wytrzymałość mechaniczną kompozytu, co pozwala na łatwe, szybkie i trwałe zamocowanie tego systemu. Przedmiotem wynalazku jest także sposób wytwarzania systemu z wymienionych substancji składowych i jego zastosowanie, bez konieczności usuwania systemu z kieszonki dziąsłowej.A biodegradable, polymer system for local drug release for use in the treatment of periodontal diseases, consisting of highly flexible, mechanically durable composite matrices in the form of a series of types, rings and/or oval shapes, the dimensions of which are related to the anatomical structure and size of human teeth, characterized by the fact that it is a composite made of polymer matrix; forming biodegradable and biocompatible aliphatic polyestercarbonates and aliphatic polycarbonates or/or their mixture, preferably poly(e-caprolactone -CO- trimethylene carbonate) with a caproyl content from 30 to 85 mol% and/or aliphatic polycarbonates, preferably poly(trimethylene carbonate -CO- neopentyl carbonate) with a trimethylcarbonate comonomer content of 50 to 90 mol%, preferably obtained in a synthesis carried out by a method that eliminates the presence of toxic metals in the final product, with a water-soluble antibiotic as a filler dispersed and/or dissolved in the matrix; preferably from the group of tetracyclines (tetracycline, doxycycline); and/or antiseptic, preferably chlorhexidine and/or metronidazole and/or triclosan, and the content of the drug used is from 5% by weight to 30% by weight of the total weight of the composite, preferably from 10% by weight to 20% by weight, and is selected so that ensure at the same time a sufficiently high concentration of the drug released in the gingival pocket, allowing the elimination of pathogenic bacteria causing the disease, and at the same time maintaining satisfactory flexibility and mechanical strength of the composite, which allows for easy, quick and permanent installation of this system. The subject of the invention is also a method of producing a system from the listed components and its use, without the need to remove the system from the gingival pocket.
