Abstract

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest niskotemperaturowy sposób wytwarzania powłok przeciwbakteryjnych na powierzchni materiałów metalicznych, tworzyw naturalnych i sztucznych, a zwłaszcza na powierzchni włókien. Pokryte takimi powłokami materiały mogą być wykorzystywane w szeroko pojętej medycynie jako elementy ochrony osobistej (maseczki ochronne) czy też jako przyrządy medyczne i/lub narzędzia chirurgiczne, narażone na działanie bakterii i wirusów (zwłaszcza typu Escherichia coli, czy Staphylococcus aureus). Sposób polega na tym, że najpierw powierzchnię narzędzi, urządzeń, przyrządów lub elementów ochrony osobistej poddaje się oczyszczaniu za pomocą rozpuszczalników organicznych i wody dejonizowanej. Następnie na oczyszczoną powierzchnię, w temperaturze 20 - 200°C osadza się powłokę z co najmniej jednej warstwy materiału tlenkowego, korzystnie ZnO lub TiO2 lub ZrO2 lub HfO2 lub Al2O3, korzystnie za pomocą techniki ALD.The subject of the invention is a low-temperature method of producing antibacterial coatings on the surface of metallic materials, natural and artificial materials, and especially on the surface of fibers. Materials covered with such coatings can be used in broadly understood medicine as elements of personal protection (protective masks) or as medical instruments and / or surgical instruments exposed to the action of bacteria and viruses (especially Escherichia coli or Staphylococcus aureus). The method consists in first cleaning the surface of tools, devices, instruments or personal protective equipment with organic solvents and deionized water. Then a coating of at least one layer of oxide material, preferably ZnO or TiO2 or ZrO2 or HfO2 or Al2O3, is deposited on the cleaned surface at 20-200 ° C, preferably by means of the ALD technique.
