Przedmiotem wynalazku jest energooszczędny system transportu wsadu w zespole prasa - piec z rekuperacją energii cieplnej w obszarze okołopiecowym oraz rekuperacja energii elektrycznej zużywanej do napędu wind transportowych. Winda (1) obciążona gorącym wsadem (3) porusza się w dół. Silnik (5), pracując jako prądnica, hamuje ruch windy (1) i oddaje energię elektryczną poprzez sterownik (7) do akumulatora (8), zaś silnik (6), podnosząc windę (2) z zimnym wsadem (4), korzysta w znacznej mierze z energii zmagazynowanej w akumulatorze (8). Energooszczędny system transportu wsadu w zespole prasa - piec znajdzie szerokie zastosowanie w przemyśle, wszędzie tam, gdzie energochłonność procesu technologicznego odgrywa znaczącą rolę.
