Sposób przekształcenia polimetalicznych, wielofazowych żużli zawierających 1-30% metali nieżelaznych korzystnie Cu, Zn, Pb, Sn, w postaci metalicznej, tlenkowej lub siarczkowej, znaczne ilości żelaza w postaci metalu, krzemianu lub magnetytu, toksyczne zanieczyszczenia, węgiel organiczny i składniki osnowy żużlowej, w surowiec mineralny z jednoczesnym odzyskiem metali, charakteryzuje się tym, że proces prowadzony jest w kolejnych etapach obejmujących topienie żużla, utlenianie siarczków metali, sedymentacyjną ekstrakcję metali w warunkach silnej redukcji, odpędzanie do pyłów lotnych związków przez fumingowanie oraz korektę składu chemicznego osnowy żużlowej, realizowanych metodą topienia w kąpieli w znanym piecu z pionową lancą w warunkach regulacji potencjału tlenu w topie podczas realizacji procesu i stosowania materiału węglowego jako reduktora i dodatkowego paliwa oraz topników zawierających tlenki krzemu, wapnia i żelaza do korekty składu żużla.Method for transformation of polymetallic, multiphase slags containing 1-30% of non-ferrous metals, preferably Cu, Zn, Pb, Sn, in metallic, oxide or sulphide form, significant amounts of iron in the form of metal, silicate or magnetite, toxic impurities, organic carbon and slag matrix components , into a mineral raw material with simultaneous metal recovery, it is characterized by the fact that the process is carried out in subsequent stages including slag melting, oxidation of metal sulfides, sedimentation of metal extraction under conditions of strong reduction, stripping of volatile compounds to dust by fuming and correction of the chemical composition of the slag matrix, realized by the method of melting in a bath in a known furnace with a vertical lance under the conditions of regulating the oxygen potential in the top during the implementation of the process and the use of carbon material as a reducer and additional fuel as well as fluxes containing silicon, calcium and iron oxides to correct the composition użla.
