Przedmiotem wynalazku jest proces separacji platyny, palladu i złota z wodnych roztworów chlorkowych, który charakteryzuje się tym, że wykorzystuje się efekt adsorpcji jonów tych metali szlachetnych z chlorkowych roztworów wodnych na węglu aktywnym z równoczesną redukcją niektórych z nich polegającą na utworzeniu fazy stałej metalu na powierzchni węgla. Szybkości poszczególnych etapów w tych procesach zależą od temperatury roztworu, stężenia początkowego jonów metali, ilości dodanego węgla aktywnego, szybkości mieszania oraz pH roztworu.The subject of the invention is the process of separation of platinum, palladium and gold from aqueous chloride solutions, which is characterized by the use of the adsorption effect of these precious metal ions from chloride water solutions on activated carbon with the simultaneous reduction of some of them by creating a solid metal phase on the surface coal. The speeds of individual steps in these processes depend on the temperature of the solution, the initial concentration of metal ions, the amount of activated carbon added, the speed of mixing and the pH of the solution.
