Slup oswietlenia zewnetrznego (1) zawiera rurowa podstawe (3) z umieszczona w jej górnym odcinku oprawa oswietleniowa (5). W rurowej podstawie (3) na wysokosci do 5,0 m wykonana jest wneka, w której to wnece osadzony jest rozlacznie uchwyt (7) zawierajacy profil o ksztalcie zblizonym do litery U, w którym to profilu zamocowany jest co najmniej jeden zestaw diod elektroluminescencyjnych oraz panel (10) z tworzywa sztucznego rozpraszajacego swiatlo w kierunku poprzecznym. Zestaw diod elektroluminescencyjnych skierowany jest do krawedzi panelu (10) z tworzywa sztucznego, który to panel (10) w calosci umieszczony jest we wnece i skierowany jest swa zewnetrzna powierzchnia emitujaca swiatlo na zewnatrz slupa (1). Wewnatrz slupa (1) w rejonie okna kontrolnego (11) znajduje sie modul zasilajacy (12) diod elektroluminescencyjnych polaczony z zestawem diod kablem biegnacym wewnatrz slupa.
