Reaktor w postaci szczelnego zbiornika wyposazonego w urzadzenie wymuszajace cyrkulacje gnojowicy, charakteryzuje sie tym, ze wypelniony jest ksztaltkami (6, 7), korzystnie z tworzywa sztucznego. Ksztaltki posiadaja rozwiniete powierzchnie, na których znajduja sie szczepy bakterii odpowiedzialnych za fermentacje metanowa gnojowicy. Ksztaltka ma postac tulei, której zewnetrzna powierzchnia (8) i wewnetrzna powierzchnia (9) zawieraja wystepy (10) majace w przekroju poprzecznym ksztalt zblizony do trójkata. Ksztaltki (7) zawieraja dodatkowo na obwodzie cylindryczne podtoczenia.
