Przedmiotem wynalazku jest kondensator elektrochemiczny, skladajacy sie z dwóch porowatych elektrod weglowych o rozwinietej powierzchni, pracujacych w dwóch róznych roztworach elektrolitu tj. elektroda dodatnia w roztworze bromianu metalu alkalicznego, elektroda ujemna w roztworze soli ceru, majacy zastosowanie jako urzadzenie do magazynowania energii. Kondensator elektrochemiczny charakteryzuje sie tym, ze elektroda dodatnia (4) usytuowana jest w elektrolicie (1), którym jest roztwór zawierajacy jony ceru o stezeniu 0,01 mol/L - 1 mol/L, korzystnie 0,02 mol/L, a elektroda ujemna (3) usytuowana jest w elektrolicie (2), którym jest roztwór zawierajacy jony bromianowe o stezeniu 0,05 mol/L - 1 mol/L, korzystnie 0,25 mol/L.The subject of the invention is an electrochemical capacitor, consisting of two porous carbon electrodes with a developed surface, operating in two different electrolyte solutions, i.e. a positive electrode in an alkali metal bromate solution, a negative electrode in a cerium salt solution, used as an energy storage device. The electrochemical capacitor is characterized in that the positive electrode (4) is located in the electrolyte (1), which is a solution containing cerium ions with a concentration of 0.01 mol / L - 1 mol / L, preferably 0.02 mol / L, and the electrode negative (3) is situated in the electrolyte (2), which is a solution containing bromate ions with a concentration of 0.05 mol / L - 1 mol / L, preferably 0.25 mol / L.
