Rotary motion from the engine (4) is transmitted to the shaft (2) through at least one bellows coupling (6) and a torque meter (7), and on the shaft end (2) there is the head of the tested slide bearing (9), which has a housing ( 3), in which tightly fitting, replaceable bushes are mounted, the sleeve (2) is pressed on the shaft journal (2), and a weight (10) is mounted on the screw, which loads the transverse load on the slide bearing (9). The measurement of the amount of heat generated by the rotation is recorded using a thermal imaging camera (11) and a pyrometer (12).
