Przedmiotem wynalazku jest masa uszczelniająca dla miedzianych kabli telekomunikacyjnych, szczególnie przydatna dla izolacji warstwowych typu "skin-foam-skin", o obniżonej interakcji pomiędzy masą a materiałem polimerowym izolacji. Masa uszczelniająca składa się z: 56-75 części wagowych stałego produktu petrochemicznego, który na drodze ekstrakcji został pozbawiony asfaltenów, aromatów i częściowo odolejony, 22-38 części wagowych oleju mineralnego o zawartości węglowodorów naftenowych średnio 40% wagowych, 2,0-5,7 części wagowych kopolimeru izobutylenu i butenu o lepkości w 100°C 250-2000 mPa•s, i/lub 0-0,6 części wagowych wosku pochodzącego z produkcji poliolefin o temperaturze kropienia nie mniej niż 102°C i lepkości w 120°C nie mniejszej niż 230 mPa•s oraz 0,1-0,27 części wagowych środka przeciwutleniającego oktadecylo-3-(3,5-ditertbutylo-4-hydroksyfenylo)propionianu.The subject of the invention is a sealing compound for copper telecommunications cables, particularly useful for "skin-foam-skin" layered insulation, with reduced interaction between the mass and the polymer material of the insulation. The sealing mass consists of: 56-75 parts by weight of a solid petrochemical product, which has been stripped of asphaltenes, aromatics and partially deoiled by extraction, 22-38 parts by weight of mineral oil with a naphthenic hydrocarbon content of an average of 40% by weight, 2.0-5, 7 parts by weight of a copolymer of isobutylene and butene with a viscosity at 100°C of 250-2000 mPa•s, and/or 0-0.6 parts by weight of wax derived from the production of polyolefins with a dropping point of not less than 102°C and a viscosity at 120°C not less than 230 mPa•s and 0.1-0.27 parts by weight of the antioxidant octadecyl-3-(3,5-ditertbutyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate.
