Abstract
Wynalazek rozwiązuje zagadnienie opracowania nowego środka do zmniejszania emisji dwutlenku siarki i tlenków azotu w gazach spalinowych i nowego sposobu do zmniejszania emisji dwutlenku siarki i tlenków azotu w gazach spalinowych, przy zastosowaniu reagenta będącego czynnikiem wytwarzającym wolne rodniki. The invention solves the problem of developing a new means for reducing emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides in flue gases and a new method for reducing emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides in flue gases using a free radical generating agent reagent. In one embodiment, an agent for reducing emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides from flue gases is disclosed, characterized in that it is an aqueous solution of ammonia, ammonium carbonates ((NH4HCO3) ; (NH4)2CO3), ammonium carbamate (NH2CO2</ sub>NH4), hydrogen peroxide compounds in the form of urea hydroperoxide ((NH2)2COH2O 2), sodium percarbonate (2Na2CO33H2O2) and melamine hydroperoxide (C3N6H6H2O2) , having a total concentration maintained in the range of 1% to 30%, but most preferably 10%, formed in proportions most preferably equal to (1:1:1:1:1) parts by weight. In a characteristic embodiment, it is important that the agent additionally contains a catalytic additive of iron II chelates, especially ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid derivatives in ammonium or sodium form, used in an amount of from 0.01 part by weight to 5 parts by weight, but most preferably 3 parts by weight for every 100 parts by weight of the solution. Preferably, chelators, especially EDTA and/or polyphosphates, are used as an agent preventing the decomposition of peroxy compounds due to the presence of heavy metals, used in an amount of from 0.001 part by weight to 1 part by weight, but most preferably 0.5 part by weight for every 100 parts by weight of the solution .
