Description
M. Szydlowski i mgr. Srodek nadajacy betonowi wodoszczelnosc sklada sie z okolo 40% swiezo przygotowanego chlorku glinowego, 20 — 25 % chlorku wapnia, 2? — 30 % kaolinu z dodatkiem okolo 5 Vo szkla wodnego potasowego, 2 °/o wodorotlenku wapnia i okolo 1 % ziemi okrzemkowej. / Przyklad. 6 czesci wagowych sproszkowa¬ nego glinu zadaje sie 34 czesciami/kwasu solne¬ go, zawierajacego scisle obliczona ilosc HCl z równania: / 2 Al + 6HCI = 2 Al Ota + 3Httak, aby otrzymany chlorek glinu wykazywal od¬ czyn obojetny. PLThe invention relates to a watertight agent for cement mortars, e.g. concrete, which differs from known agents of this type in that its essential component is freshly prepared aluminum chloride with the addition of diatomaceous earth and calcium chloride, calcium hydroxide. and clay. Although calcium salts have been used as constituents of waterproofing agents, they have been used mostly in the form of soap, for example, calcium oleate (German Patent Nos. 211877 and 248297). Agents that make concrete waterproof, containing oils or soaps, reduce the strength of concrete. According to the invention, the agent differs from similar known waterproofing agents, *) The owner of the patent stated that the inventors are Eng. M. Szydlowski and M.Sc. K. Borodzinski in Pruszków, containing calcium salts and clay, in that it consists exclusively of mineral components, the most important of which is freshly prepared aluminum chloride, obtained by the action of hydrochloric acid on metallic aluminum in a powdered form. Aluminum chloride is immediately rubbed with the rest of the ingredients, e.g. calcium chloride, calcium hydroxide and clay into a uniform paste. Concrete waterproofing agent consists of approximately 40% freshly prepared aluminum chloride, 20 - 25% calcium chloride, 2? - 30% kaolin with the addition of approx. 5% potassium water glass, 2% calcium hydroxide and approx. 1% diatomaceous earth. / Example. Six parts by weight of powdered aluminum are mixed with 34 parts of hydrochloric acid containing the strictly calculated amount of HCl from the equation: (2 Al + 6HCl = 2 Al Ota + 3H) so that the obtained aluminum chloride shows an inert reaction. Then, as much of the aluminum chloride obtained in this way, 23 parts by weight of calcium chloride with tax are added to 1 part by weight of diatomaceous earth, and then the mixture is rubbed in a mixer with 29 parts by weight of rhinestone and 5 parts by weight of water glass in a paste-like form and It is neutralized by adding 2 parts by weight of calcium hydroxide. The resulting water-tightening agent is also superior to known agents of this type, and that watertight concrete, when subjected to a pressure of about 8 atm, does not lose its water-tightness, and moreover its strength is not reduced.
