Process for monitoring the revolutions of a fan comprises determining a revolution measuring value (15) of the fan, and comparing with a reference value (16) to determine whether the fan is in a sufficient stationary state. Preferred Features: The reference value is an average value produced from the last revolution measuring values or the reference value is a prescribed theoretical value.
