A rectangular LED display is centrally mounted on the top panel, on one of the wider edges of the housing, to (1) indicate the battery charge level and (2) display messages regarding the device status and its possible damage. The upper side of the Device is mainly open and allows for the placement of protected portable devices inside the device. A fundamental and characteristic feature of the Device is the prepared openings in the upper part, which enforce the positioning of protected mobile devices; The devices should be placed centrally, between the partitions, in an upright position, with their longer edges placed horizontally. This ensures the device's effectiveness – protecting the microphone and camera lens.
