PL PLThe longest patent period, until October 21, 1951, is the subject of patent No. 24,033, a method of dyeing furs, which consists of using dyeing baths containing an organic salt formed from an oxy-amino-oxy-, halooxy-, or haloamino-oxy-compound of the naphthalene series or their substitution products, and an amino compound of the aromatic or heterocyclic series. According to the method described in patent No. 24,270, a substance influencing surface tension is also used in the dyeing bath to bring the salts of the above-mentioned type, which are less soluble in water, to the desired state of fineness. According to the aforementioned patent, sparingly water-soluble salts of di- and polyoxybenzene compounds with aromatic or heterocyclic bases can also be used for dyeing furs of this type. It has been found that instead of di- and polyoxybenzene salts, salts of their substitution products in the core can also be used with the same effect for oxidative dyeing of furs. This produces deeply durable dyes. Example L: 2 parts of a mixture of -dioxybenzene and -aminodiphenylamine and 60 parts of a dispersing agent prepared according to German patent no. 436881 are dissolved in 1000 parts of water and treated with 10 parts of 3% hydrogen peroxide. By dyeing white rabbit fur previously treated with chromium salts in such a bath for 3 hours at a temperature of 30°C, a greenish-gray dye is obtained, which is lightfast and sublimable. Example II. 2 parts of a mixture consisting of 40 parts of 4-chloro-1,2-dioxobenzene and 8-aminoquinoline salts and 60 parts of a wetting agent produced according to German patent No. 436881 are dissolved in 1000 parts of water and 10 parts of a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution are added. By dyeing white sheep fur, previously treated with potassium dichromate, in such a bath for 3 hours at a temperature of 30°C, a pure brown dye with a red tint is obtained. Example III. 2 parts of a mixture consisting of 40 parts of an equimolecular mixture of 4-nitro-1,3-dioxybenzene and 4-nitro-1,3-diaminobenzene and 60 parts of isopropylnaphthalenesulfonic acid are dissolved in 1,000 parts of water and 10 parts of a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution are added. By dyeing white rabbit fur, previously treated with iron mordant, in such a bath under the same conditions as in Example II, a pure greenish-yellow dye is obtained. Example IV. Two parts of a mixture consisting of 40% equimolecular parts of 5-nitro-1,2,4-trioxybenzene and 2,4-diaminotoluene and 60 parts of Turkish oil are dissolved in 1,000 parts of water and mixed with 10 parts of a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. By dyeing white sheep fur previously treated with chrome mordant in such a bath, a gray-brown color is obtained. Example V. Two parts of a mixture consisting of 40 parts of the salts of 4-trichloroaceto-1,2-dioxybenzene and 1,5-diaminonaphthalene and 60 parts of isopropylnaphthalenesulfonic acid are dissolved in 1,000 parts of water and treated with 10 parts of a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. By dyeing white rabbit fur previously treated with chrome mordant in such a bath, a pure gray color with a blue tint is obtained. Example VI. Two parts of a mixture consisting of 40 parts of an equimolecular mixture of 4-bromo-1,2,6-trioxybenzene and 2-chloro-1,4-diaminobenzene, and 60 parts of Turkish oil, are dissolved in 1,000 parts of water and mixed with 10 parts of a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. Dyeing white sheep fur, previously treated with iron mordant, in such a bath produces a greenish-gray color.
