The board has variable thickness: the central plane is 1 mm thick, while the 5 mm wide edge of the board is 5 mm thick. The frame thus created on the edge of one side of the board has an inner edge also rounded: a circular arc with a 4 mm radius. Thickness data refer to a single common plane, designated as the bottom plane of the board. The thinner interior of the board creates a 4 mm recess. This recess is designed to accommodate a sheet of self-adhesive plastic film, self-adhesive paper, or other material with printed visual information. The essence of the design solution is that the recess protects the edges of the sheet.
