The bakery product is generally flat, with five varieties that differ in the product's external shape and the decoration of its top surface. The first variety is shown in Fig. 1. The product is shaped like a brown, rectangular plate, with a shield-shaped rim around its surface featuring an image of a goat resting its front legs on a bush—the stylized coat of arms of the city of Lublin. Above it is a stylized view of the castle's front wall, specifically the stylized front of Lublin Castle. Above the castle's front is the inscription "KOZIOLEK LUBELSKI." The entire decoration is white. In this particular case, the plate is baked from gingerbread dough, while the decoration is made of icing. The second variety is shown in Fig. 2. The entire product is baked from gingerbread dough. The product is shaped like a brown, shield-shaped plate, on whose surface, also in the shape of a shield, appears the stylized front of Lublin Castle, and below it is a stylized image of a goat resting its front legs on a bush. Below the rim, on the sash, appears the inscription KOZIOLEK LUBELSKI. The entire product is baked from rye dough dyed brown. The fifth variety is shown in Fig. 5. The product is shaped like a brown, rectangular plate, on whose surface, also in the shape of a shield, appears the stylized front of Lublin Castle, and below it is a stylized image of a goat resting its front legs on a bush. Below the rim, on the ribbon, is the inscription KOZIOLEK LUBELSKI. The entire product is baked from gingerbread dough. Characteristic features of all varieties of this baked product include its decoration, which includes a stylized coat of arms of the City of Lublin, a stylized front of Lublin Castle, and the inscription KOZIOLEK LUBELSKI combined with the outer shape of the tile, which can resemble a rectangle, oval, or shield. The tile is brown, while the decoration is white or brown. In a special version, the product is baked from gingerbread dough and has the form of a figural gingerbread.
