Description
The subject of the invention is a fire protection accordion curtain, also used as a barrier against smoke caused by fire.
It is common knowledge that fire roller shutters are lowered automatically, preferably based on signals from fire or smoke sensors. Known roller blinds are then unwound from a spool of fire-resistant and/or smoke-resistant material wound onto a roll, with the spool closed in a casing in the waiting position for operation. Rolling out is done by mechanical force or simply by the force of gravity of the roller shutter. The casing can, in turn, be hidden in the ceiling recess, or it can be hung on the wall above the passage, on its internal or external side, i.e. in any of the separated rooms. As a rule, roller blinds are usually light, so they can be a barrier to openings and passages with a large vertical area in such a passage. Areas partitioned with roller shutters are usually corridors, adjacent rooms, staircases, escalators, etc. Another type of functionally adequate solution is a roller blind, which works on a similar principle, but the structure constituting the partition is not one uniform surface, but consists of many elements. interconnected or overlapping structures. Unfortunately, such structures are therefore heavier and do not allow covering passages with large openings. The speed of the structure's operation is also important, in terms of the time it takes to move from the waiting position to the effective functioning position, and when the threat is removed, it is important to remove the protective structure from the functioning position back to the waiting position to be activated. The less complicated the structures, the faster changes can occur. The speed of changes, on the one hand, may have a positive effect on the safety of people at risk, but it may, unfortunately, adversely affect the protective structure, because it is subject to too much overload, which may lead to mechanical damage, tearing of tendons, tearing of elements, and joints. , handles and locks.
World-renowned manufacturers act similarly in principle, but their designs differ in detail, which, in order to ensure essentially the same functions, means that even slight design changes when comparing them can be of great importance in maintaining the highest possible parameters and long life. correct operation.
To czyni tę znaną konstrukcję mechanicznie skomplikowaną i niebezpieczną z powodu konieczności współdziałania funkcjonalnego obu tych zapór, drzwi i przegrody opuszczanej. The subject of one of the earlier solutions is a Polish invention with application number P.407982. It is known for its fire-proof ventilation partition, equipped with a door with a ventilation grille. The grille allows air to flow between the spaces closed by these doors. The fire and ventilation partition is equipped with a standard door with a frame leaf filled with such a ventilation grille. At least one dropable fire curtain made of fire-resistant material is installed parallel to the door leaf. The curtain drive is controlled by a sensor that responds to a dangerous increase in ambient temperature. The partition may have a curtain in the form of a single roll-up curtain, in the form of several mutually parallel roll-up curtains or in the form of an accordion curtain. During a fire, due to an increase in temperature, the sensor releases the drive lock, as a result of which the curtain automatically falls down under the influence of the weight, completely closing the ventilation grille. However, closing the grille clearance is not the same as closing the path to the fire. In this case, a significant amount of area is protected by a door that has essentially no clearance for fire penetration. This makes this known structure mechanically complex and dangerous due to the need for functional cooperation between these barriers, the door and the drop-down partition.
In turn, international application number WO2015118315 discloses a smoke or fire barrier for closing an opening in a building, where the opening has a floor, and the barrier includes: a curtain for closing the opening, means for unfolding and retracting the curtain, a lower rod attached to the lower end of the curtain, to load the curtain during unfolding and to obtain contact with the floor during unfolding. The lower rod contains a foot connected along the lower part of the curtain to load the entire curtain, as well as an additional weight extending the foot towards the floor, the weight being connected to the foot through fusible connectors adapted to separate the connected elements at elevated temperatures. After separation due to high temperature, the additional length of the curtain is revealed if the foot is deformed under the influence of fire. The curtain is corrugated and is stored between the first and second sections of the lower rod, of which its material is made of fire-resistant material, arranged in a limited space, in a folded form.
Another foreign solution, this time with the number DE102010014461, is a fire or smoke protection cover for an opening, with a fire protection fabric that has many folding points on the opening side and folding points facing away from the opening. The folding points are designed such that the fire protection fabric in the storage system is folded at the fold points and in the sealing system where the fire protection fabric is unfolded and closes the opening has the fold points substantially staggered, i.e. straightened, along a line of travel from top to bottom. Folds facing away from the opening have a spacer facing away from the opening, and the spacer is connected to the fire-resistant fabric by means of a connector, at locations on either side of the corresponding fold point, on the fold side and those facing away, respectively. Only the fire-resistant fabric exerts a sealing force, i.e. sealing the hole on the fire-resistant fabric. However, the structure is complicated, the connecting elements are exposed to mechanical damage at the unfolding and folding points, and therefore the entire structure is exposed to the lack of mobility necessary for unfolding and folding. The cover has at least one device for guiding the fire protection fabric mounted in at least a plurality of tabs on the opening side, preferably with a guide for these devices.
In turn, from the solution described in the German document number DE102017120607, a fire protection and/or smoke protection device is known for closing an opening by means of, firstly, a flexible fire protection element and, secondly, a drive for moving the fire protection element from the protection unit to the bearing unit via a supporting device, the drive has a clutch with speed-dependent torque transfer characteristics. The holding device has a lowerable flap and a magnet holding the flap which is adapted to hold the flap closed, and the flap can be moved to an open position and a closed position. The open position occurs when the fire protection element is in the protective position and the closed position occurs when the fire protection element is in its bearing position, pre-stressed in the closed position.
Finally, from the international solution number WO2018015742, an accordion smoke or fire barrier is known, consisting of a curtain with many folding strips and many extending accordion flanges, where one collar is connected to one strip by a seam connection. The opening of the barrier is ensured by slots extending one above the other through several strips of the barrier, through which the fastening tape is threaded and attached. A double tape acting as a tie is attached to both sides of the curtain, one on each side. The individual collars preferably comprise two thicknesses of curtain fabric material, stitched on the same side of the curtain or on opposite sides. The barrier may have a tray to which its lowermost part is attached, thanks to which it can be unfolded into a barrier arrangement.
To druga znacząca wada takich konstrukcji.Unfortunately, the above structures are still heavy, which means that it is easy to tear them mechanically during automatic lowering. The loading mechanism is significant, which may additionally cause discomfort in the safe functioning of currently known solutions. The currently used accordion solutions require a surface area almost twice as large to cover the protected opening, because the complete opening of the accordion to the form of a vertically hanging sheet, when folding the accordion without any stiffeners, and therefore without running down in a broken line, is fraught with the risk of completely incorrect folding of the accordion into a compressed form. In turn, when it is possible to fold correctly due to the fact that the accordion leaves a broken course of slats when unfolded, then in the unfolded position it has a broken line (seen from the side), which is why there is the inconvenience of sideways penetration of the atmosphere through these triangular voids, on the fire-risk side, on the fire-protected side. This is the second significant disadvantage of such structures.
The purpose of the present invention is to create a structure that is as simple as possible, and at the same time as effective as possible in terms of fire hazard, meeting the standards generally accepted as required for certified fire and/or smoke barriers, which will provide protection for a sufficiently long time when a threat occurs.
The accordion fire protection curtain, according to the invention, is a smoke and/or fire barrier, the main functional element of which is a sheet having many first profiled elements, one on top of the other, forming an expanding accordion. Przykład IExample I
An exemplary accordion fire curtain 1 is a smoke and fire barrier, the main functional element of which is the curtain 2, which has many overlapping profiled elements, the first 3, one on top of the other, forming an expanding accordion, this time ten pieces of such elements. The flap 2 has a folded, unfolding and unfolded position, of which in the folded position the flap 2 is placed compressed into a concertina in the casing 4 above the space that is protected by this flap 2, in the unfolded position it is a freely falling, extending continuous concertina having first ridges 5 on the side of the protected space and second ridges 6 on the side affected by the threat, and in the unfolded position is essentially a vertically hanging barrier surface 2, and this time a passage in the form of a corridor of a residential house is protected, where the unfolded barrier separates the residential part from the passage to basements, of which the residential part is protected and the basement part is treated as at risk. The flap 2 is attached to the housing 4 by its upper edge 7, while the unfolding and folding of the flap 2 is ensured by at least one tie 8, this time three tie rods 8 running from the extreme upper edge 7 of the flap 2 to the extreme lower edge 9 of the flap 2, of which at this upper edge 7, the tendons 8 are wound onto the rotating load-bearing core 10, this time also equipped with an electric drive 11. The bottom 12 of the casing 4 is hinged and this time also falls together with the extreme lower edge 9 of the surface 2, but as a lightweight structure it does not poses a risk of uncontrolled breakage of the roof 2 in the unfolding position. The tendons 8 are attached to the slope 2 only on the same side of the slope 2, vertically at a distance L from each other, this time two were fastened to the extreme, at a distance of 0.1 m from the left and right side edges of the slope 2, respectively, both of which were placed in relation to the third one located centrally at a distance of 0.7 m. To the first ridges 5 located on the side of the protected area, half-eyelets 13 are sewn one above the other, through which each individual tie 8 is threaded freely, and to the half-eyelet 13 sewn to the ridge located located at the extreme lower edge 9 of slope 2, such a tendon 8 is permanently and inseparably fastened.
Elementy profilowane pierwsze 3 tworzą ciągłość jednej niepodzielnej warstwy połaci 2, od jej górnej krawędzi 7 do dolnej krawędzi 9, gdzie elementy profilowane pierwsze 3 w pozycji w trakcie rozkładania mają bieg odpowiadający biegowi fali łamanej trójkątnej o lekko zaoblonych wiotkich liniach tejże fali. The first 3 profiled elements create the continuity of one indivisible layer of the surface 2, from its upper edge 7 to the lower edge 9, where the first 3 profiled elements in the unfolding position have a course corresponding to the course of a broken triangular wave with slightly rounded, soft lines of this wave. The first 3 profiled elements do not have prefabricated shape memory, they do not have to have it, because the second 14 profiled elements 14 are superimposed on the first 3 profiled elements permanently with a seam connection, and the second 14 profiled elements have prefabricated shape memory, thanks to which they transfer their shape memory also on the generally flaccid surface of the first profiled elements 3. The second profiled elements 14 are placed such that each of them covers the first ridge 5 and/or covers the second ridge 6 so that all ridges of the same type are covered in the curtain (1) regardless. In the unfolding position, the second profiled elements 14 have a course of the second profiled elements 14 arranged above each other in the form of broken rectangular planes corresponding to one period of the broken triangular wave, however, shorter than the length of the period of the corresponding triangular wave of the first profiled elements 3. In the case of the first profiled elements 3 with a length consistent with the width of the curtain 1, the second profiled elements 14 have a length equal to the width of the curtain 1, and their width is smaller than the width of the first profiled elements 3. The second profiled elements 14 have prefabricated shape memory. An independent weight 15, larger in size than the lower half eye 13, is attached to each cable 8 in its extreme lower run, so that it simultaneously serves as both tension and a driver when the sheet 2 is folded again and directed to the housing 4.
Przykład IIExample II
Jak w przykładzie pierwszym, z następującymi szczegółami zmian. As in the first example, with the following details of changes.
In the unfolding position, the first 3 profiled elements have a course corresponding to the course of a broken trapezoidal wave and have prefabricated shape memory, while the second 14 profiled elements do not have prefabricated shape memory, thanks to which, by being connected with a seam, the former transfer their shape memory also to the flexible surface of the elements. profiled second elements 14. The second profiled elements 14 are placed so that each of them covers the first ridge 5 and covers the second ridge 6, so that all ridges of the same type are covered in the curtain independently, this time both types of ridges. In the unfolding position, the second profiled elements 14 have a course of broken rectangular planes arranged above each other, corresponding to one period of a broken triangular wave, but shorter than the length of the period of the corresponding wave of the first 3 profiled elements, this time a broken trapezoidal wave, omitting the length of the trapezoidal bases. With the first profiled elements 3 having a length consistent with the width of the curtain 1, the second profiled elements 14 have a length equal to the width of the curtain 1, and their width is smaller than the width of the first profiled elements 3. A weight 15 greater than extreme lower half eye 13.
Przykład IIIExample III
Jak w przykładzie drugim z następującymi różnicami. As in the second example with the following differences.
The second 14 profiled elements have prefabricated shape memory. The curtain 1 is made as a set of at least two independently operating flaps 2, each placed in its housing 4 or in the part of the housing 4 belonging to it, where each flap 2 has its own strings 8 and its own weights 15. The first ridges 5 are directed in this direction. the same side, and the second ridges 6, respectively, in the opposite direction, and then a considerable space is protected and separated by a barrier.
Przykład IVExample IV
Jak w przykładzie trzecim z następującymi różnicami. As in example three with the following differences.
The first ridges 5 are directed towards each other, and the second ridges 6 are directed in opposite directions, whereby a passage in the wall is protected, in which a door can also be installed.
Przykład VExample V
Jak w przykładzie trzecim z następującymi różnicami. As in example three with the following differences.
Slab 2 in each of its positions, i.e. folded during unfolding and unfolded, is broken in its course, i.e. along an envelope, this time incomplete, because the course of Slab 2 covers as if three sides of a rectangle, and the fourth one is open towards the staircase, thanks to why the protected area, i.e. the stairs, has a protected staircase, which penetrates into an area that may pose a fire hazard.
P r z y k ł a d VIEXAMPLE VI
Jak w przykładzie piątym z następującymi różnicami. As in example five with the following differences.
Both edges of the curtain 2, left and right respectively, running vertically towards the ground, are, at least in the unfolded and unfolded position, recessed into a niche or wall recess, which prevents possible penetration of fire and/or smoke between the curtain 1 and the building wall or room or communication route.

Jak w przykładzie piątym z następującymi różnicami. As in example five with the following differences.
The curtain 2 in each of its positions, i.e. folded during unfolding and unfolded, is broken in its course, i.e. along the envelope, this time full, because the course of the curtain covers four sides of the rectangle, and in the unfolded position the accordion curtain 1 is a sleeve covering the a central staircase from the ceiling to the floor on a given level of the building, thanks to which the protected area, i.e. the stairs, is completely isolated from the area posing a fire hazard, in this case the entire floor. Users can safely exit the building by passing through the floor where there is fire and/or smoke.
P r z y k ł a d VIIIEXAMPLE VIII
Jak w przykładzie siódmym z następującymi różnicami. As in example seven with the following differences.
The curtain 2 in each of its positions, i.e. folded during unfolding and unfolded, is arcuate in its course, i.e. along the envelope, this time also full, but the course along the envelope of the curtain constitutes an ellipse, which, as before, in the unfolded position allows for the establishment of a sleeve.
