Istota wzoru zdobniczego przejawia sie w wygladzie przedmiotu, charakteryzujacym sie dekoracyjna powierzchnia, przedstawiajaca przestrzenny widok wykwitów mrozu. Patera szklana, na powierzchni patery stanowiacej jej spód pomiedzy gladkim obrzezem i gladkim dnem patery; zas wazon na co najmniej czesci swego obwodu pomiedzy górnym obrzezem wazonu a dolna czescia wraz z dnem, maja zdobine imitujaca wykwit mrozu. Zdobina jest przestrzenna, zlozona z bialych pól zmatowionych mechanicznie i usytuowanych pomiedzy nimi wyszczypan szkla wytworzonych na drodze chemicznej. Te wyszczypania majaluskowaty charakter, penetruja one granice pól matowych i wchodza w nie w postaci lukowych pasemek w kolorze podloza szklanego. Te wyszczypania szkla, tworzace luskowate wglebienia o róznej wielkosci i glebokosci, maja miedzy soba granice w postaci linii lub plamek w kolorze podloza szklanego, dajacych dodatkowe refleksy swietlne. Wierzcholki wyszczypan sa lekko zaokraglone przy zmatowionych powierzchniach a wnetrze wyszczypan jest lekko chropowate, charakterystycznie dla odlupywanego szkla. Glass platter, on the surface of the platter constituting its underside between the smooth rim and the smooth bottom of the platter; The vase, on at least part of its circumference, between the upper rim of the vase and the lower part, including the bottom, is decorated with a frosted efflorescence.
