While driving, the rear part of the shoe—the heel and heel—is vulnerable to damage, and the cover effectively shields them, providing protection against abrasion, dirt, and inevitable wear. The essence of the industrial design is the new form of the item, manifested in its shape, surface properties, and original design, creating the subject of the industrial design. These give the cover a unique character aimed at enhancing its aesthetic value, thus giving the cover beneficial distinctive and functional characteristics. The protective shoe cover, based on the industrial design, is intended for repeated reproduction in industrial production and is made of a flexible silicone rubber material in available colors. The subject of the industrial design is illustrated with photographs showing variations of protective overlays shown on various types of women's footwear, with the individual figures in the illustrations showing: Photo 1 – a general view of the first version of a cover for flat shoes; Photo 2 – a general view of a cover for a shoe with a heelless heel; Photo 3 – a general view of a cover for a shoe with a heel up to 10 cm high; Photo 4 – a general view of a cover for a shoe with a heel up to 5 cm high; The new form of the protective overlay is characterized by the fact that it is formed by a flexible cover that covers the back of the heel, including the lower edge, and partially engages the underside of the heel or covers it entirely in the case of high-heeled shoes, as well as the back part above the heel, which serves as a heel counter.
