Do prac pod napięciem wymagane są hełmy chroniące nie tylko głowę przed udarem mechanicznym, ale też jednocześnie chroniące twarz i szyję, a zwłaszcza oczy, przed skutkami promieniowania UV, przed zamgleniem, a także odpryskami i łukiem elektrycznym mogącymi wystąpić podczas prac pod napięciem przy urządzeniach rozdzielczych i liniach kablowych do 1 kV.For works under voltage, helmets are required to protect not only the head against mechanical impact, but also protect the face and neck, and especially the eyes, against the effects of UV radiation, against fog, as well as against spatter and electric arc that may occur during working under voltage at switchgear devices and cable lines up to 1 kV.

An industrial electrical insulating protective helmet, especially for work under tension, consisting of a shell, truss and a transparent protective cover, pivotally mounted in the front inner part of the helmet shell, where the truss consists of the main belt, carrying belts and a rear belt, characterized by the fact that around the entire circumference of the inner part of the shell (1) there is a load bearing construction hoop (7) to which a harness is attached in the form of a main belt (2), carrying belts (3) and a rear belt (4) with an adjuster (5) that adjusts the main belt (2) to the head circumference, while the transparent protective cover is a visor (6) attached through the frame (8) to the load-bearing construction rim (7) by means of rotating levers (10) symmetrically mounted on the pins (9).
