Description
The subject of the invention is a method for the preparation of oxysols in a two-component system of cadmium molybdate (VI) and metal tungstates (VI). Oxysols can be used in the preparation of crystal lasers and luminescent diodes.
The method of producing oxysols according to the invention has not been described in the literature so far. It is known from the Polish patent description No. 209 579 oxysalt in a two-component system of metal tungstates (VI) containing tungstate (VI) praseodymium (III) - manganese (II) tungstate (VI) or cobalt (II) tungstate (VI), or tungstate (VI) ) cadmium with the summary formula MPR2O10, where M is manganese, cobalt or cadmium. Polish patent description No. 209 574 describes oxysolite in a two-component system containing zinc tungstate (VI) - samarium molybdate (VI) or europium molybdate (VI), or gadolinium molybdate (VI), or dysprosium molybdate (VI) with the total formula ZnRE2MoWO10, where RE is samarium, europium, gadolinium or dysprosium. These oxysols are obtained from metal tungstates (VI) or tungstates (VI) and molybdates (VI) by mixing, homogenizing and heating at appropriate temperatures. The method of producing oxysols in the two-component system of cadmium molybdate (VI) and metal tungstates (VI), according to the invention, consisting in mixing cadmium molybdate (VI) and metal tungstates (VI), homogenization and annealing of the obtained mixtures, characterized by the fact that molybdate (VI) Cadmium is mixed with praseodymium (III) tungstate or neodymium tungstate (VI) or samarium tungstate (VI) or europium tungstate (VI) or gadolinium tungstate (VI) or terbium tungstate (VI) or tungstate ( VI) dysprosium in mole ratios in% like 50:50. Then the mixture is heated to temperatures in the range 1273-1348 K in at least five steps of 12 hours each, after each heating step the samples are slowly cooled to ambient temperature and rubbed. The product obtained is an oxysol of formula Cd0.25RE0.50- (MoO4) 0.25 (WO4) 0.75, where RE is praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, terbium or dysprosium.
