W położeniu gdy siedzisko ma mniejszą głębokość rolka 10 osadzona jest w otworze 11 powodując unieruchomienie siedziska. Część siedziska schowana jest pod oparciem 5. W celu zwiększenia głębokości siedziska o dwadzieścia centymetrów unosi się nieco siedzisko powodując wyjście rolki 10 z otworu 11 i po przesunięciu oraz opuszczeniu siedziska rolka wskakuje w otwór 12 blokując ponownie położenie siedziska. W podłużnym otworze 13 znajduje się niewidoczna na rysunku śruba ograniczająca wysokość podniesienia siedziska przy zmianie jego położenia.
