Dotychczas płytki ceramiczne ścienne lub podłogowe są mocowane do podłoża za pomocą kleju. Klej nakłada się na podłoże i rozprowadza szpachlą zębatą a następnie do tak przygotowanego podłoża przykleja się płytkę. Urządzenie według wynalazku charakteryzuje się tym, że stanowią je osadzone na podstawie dwie prowadnice pionowe usytuowane równolegle względem siebie o regulacji rozstawu i wysokości i dwie prowadnice poziome połączone z prowadnicami pionowymi oraz szpachla zębata z przesłoną regulacyjną usytuowana pod kątem do płaszczyzny poziomej.
