Description of the invention

The subject of the invention is a handle for a dental impression tray.

The existing handle for a dental impression tray is a flat handle connected to an impression tray and protruding beyond its reach.

The handle for the dental impression tray according to the invention is a shaped piece having a rim that matches the shape of the ridge part of the impression tray, and the rim is attached to the ridge part of the impression tray along its entire length, the length being k <^ and ^^^ 1 ^ i ^ i ^ shorter by about one centimeter than the length of the impression tray arch, and the handle has a pressure point in the center of the impression tray, preferably at the point of intersection of the axis of symmetry, and a distance between the pressure point in the center and the attachment of the handle to the impression tray at each point. preferably it is the same. The rim of the handle has any cutouts and is mounted outside the axis of symmetry of the protruding part of the tray. The handle is preferably connected to the palatal part of the impression tray. There is preferably an eyelet above the pressure point in the central part.

The subject of the invention is shown in the examples of embodiments of impression trays in the drawing, in which fig. 1 shows the handle attached over the entire length of the ridge part of the impression tray in front view, fig. 3 - handle, the rim of which has four cutouts in the front view and in Fig. 4 the handle with an eyelet, shown in the side view.

The handle 1 is a shaped piece having a rim 2 whose shape matches the ridge part 3 of the impression tray.

With the rim 2, the handle 1 is attached in the middle of the width of the ridge part of the impression tray 3 along the entire length of its arch, its length may be one centimeter shorter than the length of the ridge part of the impression tray 3. The pressure point in the central part 4 on the handle 1 is located in the point of intersection of the axis of symmetry and the distance between the pressure point in the central part 4 and its attachment to the appendage part 3 of the impression tray at each point is similar.

The periphery 2 is provided with two notches 5, the position of which corresponds to the location of premolars in the natural dentition. The handle 1 has a pressure point in the center part 4 of the impression tray at the point of intersection of the axis of symmetry, and the distance between the pressure point in the center part 4 and the rim 2 at each point is similar.

The handle 1 is a shaped piece having a rim 2 matching the shape of the emergent portion 3 of the impression tray. The periphery 2 is provided with four notches 6. The location of the two central notches 6 corresponds to the location of the second incisors in the natural dentition, and the others to the location of premolars. The handle 1 is attached to the alveolar part 3 of the impression tray corresponding to the location of the first incisors, the part corresponding to the location of the canine, and the part corresponding to the location of the molars. The fastening free sections are the cutouts 6. The pressure point in the central part 4 of the handle 1 is at the point of intersection of the axis of symmetry, and the distance between the pressure point in the central part 4 and the rim 2 at each point is similar. The handle 1 has an eyelet 7 above the pressure point in the central part 4, which facilitates the insertion of the impression tray into the patient's mouth.

Each of the exemplary embodiments of the handle 1 is attached to the ridge portion 3 of the impression tray at the location of the first incisors, at the location of the canines and at the site of molars, while the sections free of attachment are notches 5 or 6. The location of the notches 5 or 6 may be any, as long as it meets the requirement that the pressure force at each point of the emergence portion 3 of the impression tray is equal. In the lower impression tray, the handle 1 preferably has an eyelet 7 above the pressure point.

The upper impression tray may also preferably be provided with an eyelet 7. The upper impression tray holder 1 may be connected to the palatal portion of the tray at such a point that the force applied to the pressure point in the central portion 4 does not balance the impression tray.

By using in the invention a pressure point designed in this way in the central part 4, the force applied during the impression taking at each point on the tray is the same, which increases the quality of the impression. On the other hand, the use of the lower handle 7 in the impression tray makes it easier to insert the impression tray into the patient's mouth, and also increases the comfort of using the impression tray.

Holder for a dental impression tray, characterized by the fact that the holder (1) is a shank having a rim (2) that matches the shape of the ridge part (3) of the impression tray and the rim (2) is fixed in the ridge section (3) of the impression tray on the entire length of its arch, this length being preferably shorter by about one centimeter than the length of the arch of the impression tray, and the grip (1) having a pressure point in the central part (4) of the impression tray, preferably at the point of intersection of the axis of symmetry, and the distance between the point the pressure in the central portion (4) and the attachment of the handle (1) to the impression tray at each point is preferably the same. 2.
