Abstract

The pit saw has the form of a steel flat bar, in the form of an elongated rectangle. It has a toothed blade on one side. Preferably, it is equipped with a strip, fixed fast to the shorter side. It is characterised in that the toothed blade (2) is constituted by two segments (3) and (4), which are mirror images of each other with respect to the axis of symmetry of the blade. The pitch (6) of the teeth in the central part (7) is equal to doubled pitches (8) of the teeth (5) of the segments (3) and (4). The height of teeth (5) bevelling is equal to 1/3 of their total height (10). The rake angle (γ) of saw teeth (5) is equal to approximately 16 degrees.
