Description
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest galwanometr do pomiaru przepływającego ładunku elektrycznego. The subject of the invention is a galvanometer for measuring a flowing electric charge.
So far, sensitive magneto-electric direct current galvanometers are most often used to measure very low currents, voltages or electric charges. They usually have a vertical axis of rotation of the moving part seated in various types of bearings. These bearings have a certain frictional moment which reduces the sensitivity of the galvanometer.
The galvanometer for measuring the flowing electric charge according to the invention equipped with magnets and a thin electric wire is characterized in that it consists of a rod connected to a thin electric wire. The rod is mounted inside an annular magnet, under which there is a disc-shaped magnet. The magnetic poles of these magnets are placed opposite to each other. A permanent magnet is mounted under the disc-shaped magnet, between the poles of which a coil is placed, which changes its position in relation to the poles of the permanent magnet depending on the amount of electric charge. The high sensitivity of the galvanometer is achieved thanks to the use of a very thin electric wire and the use of an appropriate suspension of the moving part with its large mass, i.e. a large moment of inertia. The mechanical friction of the moving part is practically reduced to the minimum value. The design of the moving part makes the galvanometer very sensitive and is particularly suitable for measuring very weak currents or small current pulses.
The galvanometer for measuring the flowing electric charge is shown in more detail in the embodiment in the drawing, which schematically shows the galvanometer.
Wielkość przepływającego prądu odczytuje się na podstawie wielkości wychylenia cewki 3 osadzonej na pręcie 6 między biegunami stałego magnesu 4.The galvanometer for measuring the flowing electric charge consists of a rod 6 connected to a thin electric wire 5. The rod 6 is embedded inside the ring magnet 1, under which there is a disc-shaped magnet 2. The magnetic poles of the ring magnet 1 and the disc-shaped magnet 2 are placed facing each other. A permanent magnet 4 is mounted under the disc-shaped magnet 2, between the poles of which the coil 3 is placed. Due to the repulsion of the magnetic poles, the ring magnet 1 with the rod 6 and the coil 3 attached to it is suspended in the air above the disc-shaped magnet 2 The shape of the disc-shaped magnet 2 prevents the ring magnet 1 from moving in the horizontal plane due to the magnetic forces. An annular magnet 1 with a rod 6 and a coil 3 is mounted on a disc-shaped magnet 2, forming a kind of air bearing. Rotation of the ring magnet 1 around its axis requires work necessary only to overcome the friction associated with the viscosity of the air, and does not require mechanical work, since the rotation of the ring magnet 1 is perpendicular to the force lines of the resulting magnetic field from the ring magnet 1 and the magnet. shield-shaped 2. The thin electric cable 5 is slightly stretched. A weak current flowing through a thin wire, electric 5 flows through the rod 6 and the coil 3 creates a magnetic field in it. The coil 3 is located between the poles of the permanent magnet 4, so that the formation of any magnetic field in the coil 3 causes it to twist and position it in a stable position depending on the magnitude of the magnetic field strength in the coil 3, and thus on the magnitude of the current flowing in a thin electric wire. 5. The twist of the coil 3 will be the greater, the higher the current flowing through the thin electric wire will be. The size of the flowing current is read on the basis of the deflection of the coil 3 mounted on the rod 6 between the poles of the permanent magnet 4.
