The essence of the industrial design is the new and original form of the hand guard that protects against the harmful effects of UV radiation, intended particularly for use at stations operating devices emitting artificial UV radiation, manifested in its shape, layout of the cut lines, arrangement of individual components, and the type of materials used. The hand guard, which protects against the harmful effects of UV radiation, takes the form of a wristband with a sewn-on element that covers the back of the hand, providing protection against the harmful effects of UV radiation. The guard is shaped to the convexity of the back of the hand, through side pleats and an internal stiffening element. The internal stiffening of the guard is flexible, so it does not cause any difficulties during professional activities. The band holding the hand guard on the wrist is adjustable in circumference using a self-adhesive tape. The hand guard is adapted to the circumference of the wrist (the band) and contoured to the shape of the hand (the element protecting the back of the hand).
