The essence of the design is a new form of the chasuble, achieved through special stitching, manifested by the column placed on the front of the chasuble acting as a hanging element and manifested in the appearance of the hood, which is surrounded by the same piping as the bottom of the chasuble. Chasubles are known in which the column is sewn on, although the hood is usually not trimmed with piping. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the drawing, Fig. 1, which shows the chasuble from the front, and Fig. 2, which shows the chasuble from the back. The industrial-style chasuble is a loose-hanging garment worn over the head, wider, and hanging not only forward and back but also to the sides. It consists of a single layer of elliptical fabric with a hole in the center for the head, a hood, and a column, the column hanging loosely. The chasuble is equipped with a hood that tightly covers the neck from behind, emerging from behind the shoulders in front, and is trimmed with the same piping that lines the chasuble. Increasing its surface area towards the center, the hood at the back of the chasuble resembles an oval, designed to fully cover the neck. At the front, however, the hood does not cover the neck, giving the impression that a front column hangs from its edges. A collar is placed between the front edges of the hood, covering the neck where the hood is no longer present. At the center of the chasuble, a wide, freely hanging column emerges from beneath the hood, extending to the edge of the chasuble. At the front, an identical column hangs freely from the front edges of the hood. Columns are placed in the center of the chasuble—at the front and back, suspended in its center: the rear column at the base of the hood, from under which the head emerges; the front column at the base of the hood; and the front column at the base of the collar, giving the impression of being suspended from the hood's edges. The column is shaped like a large rectangle, its length reaching to the lower edge of the chasuble, and its width almost equaling the inner part of the hood, from which the head is supposed to emerge. Although the columns constitute an element of the chasuble, they give the impression of a separate element hanging independently on the chasuble's surface. All visible edges of the chasuble are trimmed with identical piping. The lower part of the chasuble, the column, the collar, and the hood itself have trim in a different color than the material from which the chasuble is made, thus emphasizing the shape and character of the whole.
