Abstract

Description

The subject of the invention is a clamp for permanent connection of glued foils on cylindrical surfaces. It is used for sticking foil to working surfaces of hydraulic cylinders, especially mining hydraulic cylinders.

In the well-known device used in the DOZUT Technical Seals Experimental Station in Zabrze, ul. 3 Maja 91, the roller with the foil glued on was placed in a device equipped with two clamping elements - a half-roller with cylindrical internal surfaces matched to the external surfaces of the roller with the foil glued on, separated by a small gap and the appropriate pressure was applied.

The object of the invention is to provide a device that exerts pressure on the entire surface of the foil sheet to be glued.

This aim was achieved by constructing a clamp made of thin-walled sheet metal shaped like a circle.

The essence of the invention resides in the fact that the band has alternating protrusions and recesses partially wound on the cylinder and in the rest being a tangential extension of the circular partially monolithic part of the band. The grooves and the recesses alternate and, after engaging each other, define a plane in the tangential extension of the projections, which coincides with the edges of the pressed foil. The width of the end projections and recesses should be slightly less than the width of the projections and recesses. The width of the band should not exceed 10 mm from the width of the wound foil.

The subject of the invention is shown in the embodiment in the drawing in which Fig.

The clamp has a width that corresponds to the length of the cylinder or slightly greater, and a length that corresponds to a range of diameters. The band is made of a thin-walled sheet metal shaped to the shape of a circle in which two sides are cut alternately with tongues 4 and end tongues 5 and recesses 6 and end recesses 7 partially wound on the cylinder 1.

It is important for the tilt of the full belt that the location of the plane 10 made of protrusions 4 and end protrusions 5 is at the height of the outer edges 8 of the glued foil 2. Another important condition for obtaining uniform pressure of the band to the ground is that the width of the last strip of the end tab 5 is half the width of the tab 4.

The clamp is universal and can be used up to a certain range of diameters, eg Φ40 and up to Φ80 mm.

Clamping band for permanent joining of glued foils on cylindrical surfaces, made of thin-walled sheet metal in the shape of a circle, characterized in that it has alternating protrusions (4,5) and recesses (6,7) partially wound on the roller (1) and in the remaining part being a tangential extension of the circular, partially monolithic part of the band, the protrusions (4) and (5) and the recesses (6) and (7) alternately interlock and, after mesh, define the plane in the tangential extension of the protrusions (4) and (5) which coincides with the edges (8) of the pressed foil (2). 2.
