The new and original form of the industrial design is reflected in the shape of the housing and its styling, simplification, and the combination of various elements, allowing for an enhanced aesthetic and ergonomic user experience. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the illustrative material in the attached drawing, which shows in Fig. 1 the front of the socket with a connecting cable with a plug in a top view, and in Fig. 2 the front of the socket in a bottom view, while in Fig. 3 the front of the socket in a side view, while in Fig. 4 the front of the socket in a view from the side of the plug sockets, and in Fig. 5 a photograph of the front of the socket in a perspective view. The extension cord according to the industrial design shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the drawing and the photo in Fig. 5, has a housing in the shape of an elongated cuboid, divided along the longer circumference into two parts, forming a cover and a base, connected by an overlap, containing as many as eight round plug sockets with a protective pin and a connecting cable with a mains plug, and located on the side of the connecting cable, overvoltage protection and an anti-interference filter. The flat cover, as shown in Fig. 1 of the drawing, along the length of the plug sockets, has a surface whose edges are aesthetically inclined, increasing the aesthetics and ergonomics, then this surface, as shown in Fig. 3 of the drawing, changes along the further length into an inclination less than a right angle, causing a horizontal, rounded projection with a large radius, as shown in Fig. 4 of the drawing, and a vertically rounded projection with a large radius, wherein on the horizontal projection there is an oval voltage signal lamp and a trapezoidal recess is created, turned from the smaller base to the larger base, which is the horizontal edge of the housing, in which a rectangular, illuminated key switch and a round lamp behind it are placed. signaling of the overvoltage protection, and on the extended edge there are flat handles on both sides with three holes for mounting the extender, especially for 19-inch computer cabinets. Furthermore, between each of the eight sockets on the top and side surfaces of the cover there are cutouts to improve the aesthetics, and as shown in Fig. 2, in the base there are holes with flanges for mounting the base with the cover, and for a longitudinal and transverse channel with protrusions on the edges for mounting cables, enabling the introduction and arrangement of the power cable in four directions through the hole in the intersection of the channels.
