Abstract

An installation device, particularly a power circuit breaker, residual current protective device or similar, comprising a housing (2) wherein contact terminals (4,8) and fixed and moveable main contacts connected thereto are maintained. The at least one moveable contact is controlled by an operating cam (10) and an auxiliary switch (5) monitoring the switch position of the main contacts is provided with a moveable contact (13) and at least one fixed contact (19, 20) which is maintained in an auxiliary switch housing (21) which is inserted into the housing (2). The moveable contact (13) of the auxiliary switch (5) is in direct mechanical contact with the operating cam (10) and is controlled thereby in order to monitor the position of the main contacts in a reliable manner.
