Abstract
The reluctance motor has a rotor and a stator with a laminated stator core (12) provided with wound cores (11), at least one of the stator laminations (22) not fully covering the base surface of the stator core, for providing a non-covered area (25) at the stator external edge. The stator laminations have a greater radial width in the vicinity of the wound cores than for the bridging sections (18) between the wound cores.
