Abstract
Description
The subject of the invention is a device for water purification in drained rural areas, and the principles of its location in these areas in order to protect the aquatic environment of lakes and rivers against the eutrophication process.
Znane i stosowane rozwiązania w zakresie zabezpieczenia środowiska wodnego przed zanieczyszczeniami dotyczą wyłącznie ścieków miejskich i przemysłowych odprowadzonych do odbiorników naturalnych w postaci jezior i rzek. Dotyczy to głównie resztek ponawozowych w postaci aktywnych związków azotu, potasu, magnezu, wapnia i fosforu. The solutions known and applied in the field of protection of the aquatic environment against pollution apply only to municipal and industrial wastewater discharged to natural reservoirs in the form of lakes and rivers. Water from the functioning drainage systems in rural areas is discharged to the receivers without treatment. These waters transport a number of biologically active ingredients causing eutrophication of natural receivers. This applies mainly to post-fertilization residues in the form of active nitrogen, potassium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorus compounds.
Polish patent specification No. 117 391 describes a filter with a granular bed for purifying liquids in industry and municipal economy. A special insert in the form of segments mounted between the wall of the tank and the filter bed was introduced in the tank filled with the granular bed. A layer of granular material with a granulation corresponding to the granulation of the bed is applied to the inner surface of the insert, creating a uniform layer applied to the insert and the layers of the filter bed.
From another Polish patent specification No. 109 763 a device for filtering water is known, which has a basic filter layer situated inside the settling tank and spread tightly on the base plate, which consists of prefabricated multilayer plates of different porosity with a layer of sand placed on them. The bottom layer of each prefabricated filter plate has drainage channels, preferably in parallel.
Celem wynalazku jest opracowanie takiego urządzenia, które przestrzennie zabezpieczy wody odbiorników naturalnych jak jeziora i rzeki przed zanieczyszczeniem spowodowanym intensyfikacją produkcji rolniczej i leśnej. The aim of the invention is to develop a device that will spatially protect the waters of natural receivers, such as lakes and rivers, against pollution caused by the intensification of agricultural and forestry production.
Cel ten został osiągnięty według wynalazku przez budowę filtrów mechaniczno-biologicznych na rowach melioracyjnych, doprowadzających do odbiorników wodę z meliorowanych obszarów wiejskich.According to the invention, this aim has been achieved by the construction of mechanical-biological filters on drainage ditches supplying water from drained rural areas to receivers.
A mechanical filter filled with a filter bed in the form of several layers of gravel of various grain sizes, from coarse-grained to fine-grained with a layer of aluminum-sand material placed on them, is characterized by the fact that the sand-aluminum layer contains an active phosphorus sorbent in the form of aluminum or iron hydroxides. Behind the mechanical filter, there is a biological filter in the form of a shallow water retention reservoir covered with marsh vegetation, in which the remains of chemical substances contained in the drainage waters are decomposed.
Wody melioracyjne, odprowadzone do jezior i rzek, zawierają od kilkudziesięciu do kilkunastu razy więcej związków azotu, potasu i magnezu niż związków fosforu. Zabezpieczenie odbiorników wód meliorowanych przed eutrofizacją polega więc głównie na dalszym zmniejszeniu ilości aktywnego fosforu w doprowadzanych do odbiornika wodach. Pożądany efekt uzyskuje się dzięki zastosowaniu sorbentów aktywnego fosforu według wynalazku w filtrze mechanicznym.Melioration waters discharged into lakes and rivers contain from several dozen to several times more nitrogen, potassium and magnesium compounds than phosphorus compounds. Therefore, the protection of drainage water receivers against eutrophication consists mainly in further reduction of the amount of active phosphorus in the waters supplied to the receiver. The desired effect is achieved by using the active phosphorus sorbents according to the invention in a mechanical filter.
The effective operation of a mechanical filter depends on the volume of drainage water flow. The research shows that the filter can work for about 3-5 years without the need for renovation works, i.e. without the need to replace the absorber chamber content in the mechanical filter and without the need to clean the retention tank. In the period between the renovation of the filter, treatments are applied to clean the top layer of the absorber. These treatments involve removing the possible turf and harrowing the top layer of the absorber.
Przedmiot wynalazku zostanie bliżej objaśniony w przykładzie wykonania na rysunku, na którym fig. 1 przedstawia filtr mechaniczny w widoku z góry, fig.2 filtr mechaniczny w przekroju podłużnym, a fig.3 lokalizację filtru mechaniczno-biologicznego na meliorowanych obszarach wiejskich. The subject of the invention will be explained in more detail in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a mechanical filter in a plan view, Fig. 2 shows a mechanical filter in a longitudinal section, and Fig. 3 shows the location of a mechanical-biological filter in drained rural areas.
