Abstract

A bent osteotome with a double-sided guide, in the form of a rod with a handpiece, mushroom-shaped at the end, characterised in that its cutting part (3), curved in the axial plane and with a double-T cross-section (4), is equipped with a dovetail-shaped blade (5), chamfered on two sides, occupying the whole width of the double-T plate and with flat side mandrels (6), terminated radially, projecting beyond the blade, preferably by 5 mm.<IMAGE>

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest osteotom wygięty z dwustronnym prowadnikiem, mający zastosowanie w ortopedii, szczególnie do poprzecznego przecinania kości przy wydłużaniu kończyn.The subject of the invention is a bent osteotome with a double-sided guide for use in orthopedics, especially for transverse bone cutting to extend limbs.

Znane i stosowane są osteotomy w postaci pręta wyposażonego w rękojeść zakończoną grzybkiem i o części roboczej posiadającej ostrze na całej swej szerokości. Stosowanie takiego osteotomu do poprzecznego zakrytego przecinania kości, chroniącego szpik kostny i okostną jest niemożliwe nawet przy małej jego szerokości, bowiem osteotom zsuwa się z kostniny podczas zabiegu.Osteotomes in the form of a rod, equipped with a handle ending in a mushroom, and an operative part having a blade along its entire width, are known and used.
