Abstract

1. A method for producing and laying turf, particularly for covering escarpments, which consists in sowing and cultivating grass by usual methods, characterised in that a plastic mesh is spread on subsoil, whereas the mesh is covered with a soil, or preferably peat, layer of several centimetres thickness, whereas grass is sowed on this soil and cultivated by usual methods, and before the application, the soil layer with grown grass is wound on a drum and transported to the place where it is to be laid and is laid out as a whole on a selected subsoil.2.
