Reakcja rozpoczyna sie natych¬ miast, przyczem temperatura wzrasta znacz-nie. W ciagu 6 — 7 godzin miesza sie dalej, przyczem nalezy baczyc, ewentualnie ochla¬ dzajac odpowiednio mieszanine reakcyjna, aby temperatura reakcji nie przekroczyla 52°C. Otrzymuje sie jasna zywice, topnie¬ jaca w temperaturze 140°C, która rozpu¬ szcza sie calkowicie w oleju lnianym, jak równiez i w zestalajacych sie olejach, za¬ wierajacych olej drzewny.Taki sam produkt otrzymuje sie, skoro uzyty w przykladzie niniejszym krystalicz¬ ny chlorek zelaza zastapic 4 cz. wag. bez¬ wodnego chlorku zelaza.
