Flexible coupling, not detachable

The subject of the invention is a non-separable flexible coupling.

A flexible coupling is known from the German patent specification No. 2 902 991 consisting of an intermediate disk element and pivotally mounted in it at least two coupling pins, having spherical beads at their ends. These beads are movably mounted on the coupling halves in complementary eye-shaped grips lined with displacement compensation elements.

Also known from the German patent description No. 2 805 831 is a flexible coupling consisting of disks connected to each other by means of pins embedded in rubber sleeves.

Both types of clutches require precise manufacturing, which is difficult to meet, especially in small-series production conditions.

The aim of the invention was to develop a flexible coupling compensating for both misalignment of the receiver and misalignment resulting only from manufacturing errors, which would be easy to manufacture.

The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the discs, which are equipped with radial holes with spring sleeves, for mounting in them and in the holes of the discs mounted on the intermediate member of pins connecting both discs, have elastic elements in the form of rings, the inner diameter of which is congruent with the member the intermediate member, resting simultaneously on the discs on the intermediate member, the spherical pins of the intermediate member engaging in the sleeves of the discs with elastic elements.

The subject of the invention is presented in an exemplary embodiment in the attached drawing showing a non-detachable flexible coupling in cross-section.

The clutch according to the invention consists of two disks 1 attached to the sleeve 5, forming one integral whole. The sleeves 5 of the disks 1 receive an intermediate member 2 in the form of a pin ended with spherical pins. The discs 1 are equipped with elastic sleeves 3, placed in the radial openings of the discs 1, and with elastic elements 4 in the form of rings, with an internal diameter corresponding to the diameter of the intermediate member 2. 155 298 permanently mounted on the intermediate member 2, they are connected with a pin placed in the hole 7 of the disc 6 and the elastic bushing 3 of the disc 1.

The position of the two clutch plates with respect to the intermediate member 2 is determined by the surfaces of the spherical pins of this intermediate member. The drive between the individual members is transmitted via elastic elements 3. The elastic elements 4 provide the appropriate distance between the plates to allow the clutch to swivel.
