Description

Wydzielajacy sie podczas reakcji DMSO z dwuizocyjanianami dwutlenek wegla spienia uklad reakcyjny, do którego mozna dodac stabilizatory piany.Zarówno DMSO jak i dwuizocyjanian sa wbudowywane w strukture tworzywa, bez obnizeniajego wlasnosci mechanicznych.Proponowane rozwiazanie umozliwia czesciowa eliminacje katalizatorów o okolo 15% w przypadku zastosowania polieterów z mala iloscia grup -OH, natomiast w przypadku wielofunk¬ cyjnych polieterów z wieksza iloscia grup -OH moze nastapic calkowita eliminacja katalizatorów.Ponadto nie zachodzi potrzeba dodawania czynników spieniajacych — freonów, co znacznie obniza koszt wytwarzania pianki.Przyklad I.Do90gpolieteruD7Pdodano 10gdwumetylosulfotlenku/DMSO/zawieraja¬ cego 0,5% wody, dokladnie zmieszano i calosc przereagowano z 70 g dwuizocyjanianu. Po okolo 30 sekundach zostal zainicjowany proces sieciowania przebiegajacy z wydzieleniem ciepla. Zastoso¬ wano 25% dodatek katalizatora SN-kaprolaktanu w porównaniu do ilosci katalizatora dodawa¬ nego w tradycyjnej metodzie wytwarzania pianek poliuretanowych. Po uplywie 2-3 minut naste¬ powal proces stabilizacji polimeru i zakonczenie tworzenia pianki. Uzyskano pianke poli- uretanowana o korzystnej strukturze komórkowej oraz dobrych wlasciwosciach mechanicznych.2 144 392 P r z y k l a d II. Do 100 g polieteru dodano 2 g DMSO, zawierajacego 0,5% wody. Po wymie¬ szaniu przereagowano z 60g dwuizocyjanianu. Po 30 sekundach rozpoczal sie proces spieniania.Nie stosowano dodatku czynnika spieniajacego i katalizatora. Uzyskano pianke poliuretanowa o cechach standardowego produktu. Pracownia Poligraficzni UP PRL. Naklad 100 egz.Cena 220 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method of obtaining a foam polymer from polyethers in the process of producing polyurethane foams with a cellular structure. stabilizers. Freons are commonly used as foaming agents, and organometallic compounds are the catalysts. The cellular structure of the foams obtained is improved by the addition of polysiloxane compounds or silicone oils (US Patent No. 3,404,105) or non-volatile alcohols (United Kingdom Patent No. 852,379). The disadvantage of using catalysts for the foaming reaction and foaming agents is the high cost and difficulty in obtaining The method according to the invention consists in adding dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) to the cross-linked agent (polyether), containing from 0.5 to 1% of water, in an amount from 2 to 15% by weight in relation to the cross-linked agent, it is then subjected to the known cross-linking process using diisocyanates. The carbon dioxide released during the reaction of DMSO with diisocyanates foams the reaction system, to which foam stabilizers can be added. Both DMSO and diisocyanate are incorporated into the structure of the material, without reducing its mechanical properties. The proposed solution allows for a partial elimination of catalysts by about 15% when used with a small number of -OH groups, while in the case of multifunctional polyethers with a greater number of -OH groups, complete elimination of the catalysts. Moreover, there is no need to add foaming agents - freons, which significantly reduces the cost of foam production. (0.5% water) was mixed thoroughly and reacted with 70 g of diisocyanate. After about 30 seconds, the cross-linking process with release of heat was initiated. A 25% addition of SN-caprolactan catalyst was used compared to the amount of catalyst added in the traditional method of producing polyurethane foams. After 2-3 minutes, the polymer stabilization process commenced and the formation of the foam was completed. A polyurethane foam with a favorable cell structure and good mechanical properties was obtained.2 144 392 P r z y k l a d II. 2 g of DMSO containing 0.5% water was added to 100 g of polyether. After mixing, it is reacted with 60 g of diisocyanate. After 30 seconds the foaming process started. No foaming agent and no catalyst were added. A polyurethane foam with the features of a standard product was obtained. Patent claim A method of obtaining a foam polymer from polyethers based on the reaction of a cross-linked agent (polyether) with diisocyanates, characterized in that dimethyl sulfoxide containing 0.5 to 1.0% of water is added to the cross-linked agent, in an amount from 2 to 15% by weight in relation to the cross-linked factor, is mixed and then subjected to the known cross-linking process using diisocyanates.
