The lantern's cover, according to the industrial design, has a shape similar to a truncated pyramid bounded on both sides by rings, mounted on a cylindrical base. The pyramid's walls are decorated with a drawing of a Pisan cross, and the rings with drawings of stylized hearts arranged alternately. The entire structure is closed with a two-element cylindrical collar.
