Proces rozszczepia¬ nia ciezkich weglowodorów na nizej wrza¬ ce odbywac sie moze pod cisnieniem atmo- sferycznem lub pod cisnieniem zwiekszo- nem, albo pod cisnieniem zmniejszonem.Temperatura, która stosuje sie przy rozszczepianiu stanowi 550°—750°C, ozna¬ cza sie ja doswiadczalnie.
