Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób grawitacyjnego wydzielenia produktu polipropylenowego ze zuzytych obudów akumulatorów, polegajacy na rozdrabnianiu, odsianiu ziarn mniejszych niz 5 mm i obtoczeniu swiezych chropowatych powierzchni.Zlom obudów akumulatorów zawiera cenne tworzywa nadajace sie do wtórnego wykorzystania. Czesci bakelitowe i ebonitowe o obtoczonych powierzchniach tona w wodzie i przemieszczane sa ku wylotowi rynny z warstwa przydenna strumienia. Obecnosc tkanin w rozdzielanym tworzywie utrudnia te operacje, bowiem czesc tkanin pozostaje wpro- t dukcie plywajacym, a czesc przechodzi do produktu tonacego. Aby ten cel osiag¬ nac trzeba dobrac takie oddzialywanie, aby nie dopuscic do przechodzenia polipropylenu do drobnej odsianej przed grawitacyjnym rozdzialem klasy i spowodowac opadniecie wszystkich tkanin do przydennej warstwy ebonitowo-bakelitowego produktu rozdzialu. Obmyte z obciaznika tworzywo stanowiace mieszanine rozdrobnione¬ go polipropylenu, ebonitu, bakelitu, przekladek decylitowych i przekladek z polichlorku winylu i tkanin, podda¬ je sie rozdzialowi wedlug ciezaru wlasciwego w osrodku wodnym w znanych korytowych separatorach. Tworzy¬ wo polipropylenowe utrzymuje sie na powierzchni strumienia, natomiast ebonit i bakelit opadaja w dól i prze¬ mieszczane sa pradem przydennej warstwy strumienia wody.Nasycone obciaznikiem tkaniny w strumieniu wody kieruja sie ku dnu koryta i przechodza do frakcji ebonitowo-bakelitowej. Dlatego pionowa struge produktu polipropylenowego opuszczajacego przesiewacz odwadniajacy przedmuchuje sief poziomym strumieniem sprezonego powietrza i wywiewa z tego produktu lekkie, o duzej powierzchni, czesci plytek decylitowych i plytek z polichlorku winylu.Zaleta sposobu wedlug wynalazku jest ograniczenie zakresu rozdrabniania tworzywa przynoszace zasadni¬ cze korzysci technologiczne w postaci obnizenia strat polipropylenu w odsiewanej drobnej frakcji. Metoda wedlug niniejszego wynalazku otrzymuje sie produkt polipropylenowy o wysokiej czystos¬ ci.Sposób wedlug wynalazku przedstawiono w przykladzie wykonania. Scieraja sie miedzy innymi i wygladzaja swieze powierzchnie przelomu utworzone podczas rozdrabniania. Nasycone obciaznikiem tkaniny i niedo¬ statecznie obmyte z osadzonego obciaznika maja zwiekszona mase. Te wlasciwosc wykorzystuje sie do ostatecz¬ nego usuniecia tkanin z wydzielonego tworzywa polipropylenowego.Obmyte z obciaznika tworzywa rozdziela sie grawitacyjnie w strumieniu wody w nachylonym korycie 13.Na powierzchni wody utrzymuje sie tworzywo polipropylenowe, zas do warstwy przydennej opadaja czesci ebonitowe, bakelitowe i nasycone obciaznikiem magnetytowym tkaniny. ./.G^ ^^ Pracownia Poligraficzna UP PRL. Naklad 100 egz.Cena 100 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method of gravitational separation of a polypropylene product from used battery casings, consisting in grinding, sifting grains smaller than 5 mm and coating fresh rough surfaces. The scrap of the battery casings contains valuable materials that can be recycled. The fact that scrapped polypropylene, ebonite or bakelite casings are mixed together makes it difficult to use some of these materials. The recovery of, for example, polypropylene material is also prevented by the artificial fabrics and decilite spacers present in the scrap, as well as polyvinyl chloride plates. These are battery components that are difficult to separate from polypropylene due to the similar densities of these materials. There is a known way of segregating polypropylene, ebonite and bakelite from scraped lead-acid battery casings, guaranteeing the gravitational separation of these materials in an aqueous medium, thanks to the fact that by rolling the fresh, rough surfaces of the ebonite and bakelite fracture, formed as a result of grinding, air bubbles are removed from the pores and crevices of these surfaces, which in turn facilitates the fall of these materials in the water stream. The separation of these types of plastics is even easier by sifting out the fines from the ground product, since the cause of the separation center sticky is eliminated. The fine-grade sieving also has the advantage that a large part of the shredded decilite spacers and polyvinyl chloride plates are discharged from it, because these ingredients are more easily crushed than ebonite and bakelite. The product is crushed after sifting out the fine fraction and coating fresh surfaces, a horizontal stream of water in a bed, where the separation by specific weight takes place. Polypropylene tiles and splinters, the density of which is less than that of water, flow with the jet stream along its surface. Bakelite and ebonite parts with coated surfaces are one ton in water and are moved towards the outlet of the gutter with the bottom layer of the stream. At the outlet of the gutter, in the middle of its height, there is a horizontal partition dividing the stream into a near-surface layer, which carries a polypropylene fringe and a bottom layer that displaces the sinking ebonite and bakelite fractions. Each of these layers is directed to separate screens for dewatering and washing the products of Chapter 2 carried by them. 135 967 In the presented method of preparing the scrap material for separation according to their type, several disadvantages and disadvantages were found. The high degree of crushing of the material to the maximum grain size of 50 mm results in a much greater crushing of decilite spacers and polyvinyl chloride insulation plates and the transition of most of them to a fine fraction below 5 mm, which is sifted as waste, but with ebonite and bakelite material it crumbles also, despite its ductility, polypropylene and some of it also passes into a fine screened grade, causing polypropylene loss. The presence of fabrics in the separated material makes these operations more difficult, because some fabrics remain in the floating pattern and some pass into the sinking product. This is a very serious technological problem. The object of the invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, in particular the loss of fine-sieved polypropylene, and to guarantee the purity of the floating polypropylene product. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to select such an interaction that would prevent polypropylene from passing into fine sieved before gravity separation and cause all fabrics to fall down to the bottom layer of the ebonite-bakelite separation product. According to the invention, this goal was achieved by grinding the scrapped material to the maximum extent. ¬ grain sizes 150-200 mm. The fractions smaller than 5 mm are screened out of the fragmented material. The low degree of fragmentation and greater plasticity of polypropylene make it more resistant to shredding than ebonite and bakelite, thanks to which it does not pass into a fine fraction. After the fine fraction has been screened out, the disintegrated material comes into contact with the heavy slurry liquid so that the fabrics present in the material are absorbed by the weight of this liquid and that as many of these fabrics as possible pass into the sinking fraction. This operation is also aimed at transferring possible impurities in the form of metallic lead. After partial removal of used fabrics and metallic impurities, the suspension liquid separates from the material on the slotted grate through its free drainage, and then, by washing with water sprays, the liquid weight particles deposited on the surface of the material are removed. The physical nature of the fabrics, their suspensibility of the liquid causes that they are difficult to wash out compared to smooth plastic surfaces. The material, washed from the weight, consisting of a mixture of shredded polypropylene, ebonite, bakelite, decilite and polyvinyl chloride and fabric spacers, is separated according to the specific weight in an aqueous medium in known trough separators. The polypropylene material remains on the surface of the stream, while ebonite and bakelite fall down and are moved by the current of the bottom layer of the stream of water. The fabrics saturated with the weight in the stream of water flow towards the bottom of the channel and go to the ebonite-bakelite fraction. As a result, the floating polypropylene product is almost free from textile contamination. The floating fraction is not yet a pure polypropylene product as it contains decilite interlayers and polyvinyl chloride plates. The low degree of comminution of the scrap material caused a part of these spacers to remain in the grain class above 5 mm. Their slight differentiation compared to polypropylene in terms of specific weight prevents their separation by gravity, therefore the vertical stream of polypropylene product leaving the drainage screen blows through it with a horizontal stream of compressed air and blows out of this product light, with a large surface, parts of decilite plates and plywood. The advantage of the method according to the invention is the limitation of the grinding scope of the material, which brings substantial technological advantages in the form of reduction of polypropylene losses in the fine fraction. Although in the thicker class there is an increased amount of decilite particles and polyvinyl chloride particles, they are removed from the polypropylene product in the last phase of the treatment by blowing with a stream of air. An important achievement is the control of more accurate separation of fabrics from polypropylene parts by gravity. The method according to the present invention provides a high purity polypropylene product. The method according to the invention is illustrated in an embodiment example. A schematic diagram of this method is provided in the accompanying drawing. The scrap of material from lead-acid battery housings is fed by a truck 1 to a feeder 2, and then to a rotary-impact crusher 3 adjusted so that the largest elements of the comminution product are 150 mm in size. The product fragmented in this way is directed by a conveyor 4 onto a screen 5 with a perforated screen of 05 mm openings, on which small particles of material are discharged, hindering the gravitational separation of materials of various densities. The grinding product freed from the fine fraction is fed to the rotating drum 6, where the abrasion of the material parts takes place. They rub, among other things, and smooth out the fresh fracture surfaces created during grinding. This is important because by smoothing these surfaces, the air bubbles attached to the pores and gaps are removed. This prevents ebonite material from remaining in the floating product. The pieces of material processed by rubbing are carried by buckets 7 suspended on the inner circumference of the drum 6 to a chute 8 leading to a slurry separator 9, filled with a magnetite suspension. In the separator 9, the fabrics present in the separated scrap come into contact with a liquid weight and, if necessary, discharge metallic impurities from the material. 135 967 3 The seed-wrapped fabric suspension increases its weight and most of it sinks. It is the first step in removing fabrics from separated materials. All types of plastic leave separator 9 as a floating product. Immediately after the separator, the slurry liquid is separated from the product floating on the sloping slotted grate 10, first by automatic gravity drainage, then forced drainage by shaking the material on the screen 11, then by washing the product with water sprays 12. Removal of the weight particles of the slurry liquid. on smooth surfaces, the material does not pose any major difficulties. It is much more difficult to remove this weight from the fabrics impregnated with it, those that remained together with the material of the flowing product on the surface of the slurry liquid. Fabrics saturated with a weight and insufficiently washed from the deposited weight have increased weight. These properties are used for the final removal of fabrics from the separated polypropylene material. Cleaned from the weight, the material is separated by gravity in a stream of water in an inclined channel 13.Polypropylene material is kept on the water surface, while the ebonite, bakelite and saturated parts fall down to the bottom layer. magnetite cloth. The trough has a horizontal baffle 14 at its exit at half depth, which separates the subsurface layer with floating polypropylene material from the bottom layer displacing ebonite, bakelite and woven parts falling to the bottom. Each of these products is discharged to separate screens 15 and 16 for dewatering. The polypropylene product is subjected to an additional treatment aimed at removing from it the remains of decilite spacers and polyvinyl chloride plates, which remained in it due to the low degree of comminution of the scrapped material. This procedure consists in blowing these particles from a vertical stream of polypropylene product with a horizontal stream of compressed air. characterized in that, prior to sifting out the fine fraction and coating the fresh surfaces, these materials are crushed so that the largest dimensions of the plates have a size of 150-200 mm, and then, when freed from the fine fraction and coated, the grinding product contacts the suspension liquid, separates the liquid The product is washed, the liquid weight deposited on a material consisting of a mixture of polypropylene, ebonite, bakelite and synthetic fabrics, and the vertical stream of separated floating polypropylene product leaving the drainage screen is blown with a horizontal stream of compressed air. 135 967 U ¦. ./.G^ ^^ Printing studio of the Polish People's Republic.
