Description

Uyskano wysoki stopien roztarcia w granicach 15 /xm.2 134352 Przyklad wykonania koncentratu czarnego.Do pojemnika o poj. 101 odwazono 0,9 kg sadzy aktywnej SAB-1 oraz 5,1 kg substancji oleistych. Skladniki wymieszano wstepnie a nastepnie przelano do leja mlynka koloidalnego.Proces homogenizacji w mlynku koloidalnym powtarzano 3-krotnie w celu dokladnego roztarcia pigmentu. Otrzymany koncentrat 15% rozcienczono do stezenia 11% olejem parafinowym.Koncentraty w innych kolorach wykonane byly podobnie, róznica polegala jedynie na zmie¬ nionych ilosciach pigmentów w stosunku do oleju parafinowego.Koncentrat bialy biel tytanowa 50% wagowych olej parafinowy 50% wagowych Koncentrat zólty zólcien pigmentowa GGp 36,4% wagowych olej parafinowy 63,6% wagowych Koncentrat pomaranczowy oranz pigmentowy G 36,3% wagowych olej parafinowy 63,7% wagowych Tak przygotowany koncentrat podawano do leja zasypowego wytlaczarki przy pomocy urzadzenia dozujacego, poprzez wywiercony w bocznej sciance leja otwór umieszczony na wyso¬ kosci 5 cm od podstawy leja, w którym umieszczona zostala poziomo do podstawy wytlaczarki koncówka dozujaca o srednicy 10 mm. Wylot koncówki dozujacej znajdowal sie w srodkowej czesci leja zasypowego. Pracownia Poligraficzna UP PRL. Naklad 100 cgz.Cena 100 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method of continuous dyeing of plastics with liquid concentrates in the process of extrusion and injection. There are methods of dyeing plastics consisting in mixing color pigments or concentrates in the form of granules with the material to be dyed and then pouring the mixture into the hopper of an extruder or injection molding machine. These are very labor-intensive and do not guarantee uniform coloring and repeatability of the dyeing effect of individual batches due to periodic administration of boiled mixtures of coloring concentrate with plastics. Moreover, due to the low degree of grinding and uneven dispersion of the pigment distribution in the material, the quality and aesthetics of the products are reduced, as well as their endurance. In the case of using powder pigments for tinting, which is now common, there is a significant dusting, posing a great health and safety hazard. The aim of the invention is to develop such a dyeing method that would make it possible to obtain a uniform color on all products, easy color change, and ensure the possibility of continuous adjustment of the amount of concentrate. The solution according to the invention uses a liquid coloring concentrate consisting of pigments in an amount of 10 to 50% by weight mixed with oily substances with a boiling point higher than the processing temperature of the material in the amount of from 90 to 50% by weight, which is introduced by means of a dosing device into the hopper of an extruder or injection molding machine at a height of 5 to 20 cm from the bottom of the hopper. The result of the presented method of dyeing according to the invention is obtaining products with high hiding power and a uniform desired color that does not change during the continuous dosing of dyeing concentrate. This is of particular importance when dyeing thin-walled products such as films, where dyeing of which traditional methods of achieving a uniform color are almost impossible. Commonly available pigments such as carbon black, titanium white, pigment yellow and others, which were homogenized in colloidal mills with oily substances, were used for the production of liquid color concentrates. A high grinding degree of 15 µm was achieved. 2 134352 Example of black concentrate. For a container with a capacity of 101, 0.9 kg of SAB-1 activated carbon black and 5.1 kg of oily substances were weighed. The ingredients were pre-mixed and then poured into the funnel of a colloid mill. The homogenization process in a colloid mill was repeated 3 times in order to thoroughly grind the pigment. The obtained 15% concentrate was diluted to a concentration of 11% with paraffin oil. Concentrates in other colors were made similarly, the only difference was the changed amounts of pigments in relation to paraffin oil. Concentrate white titanium white 50% by weight paraffin oil 50% by weight Concentrate yellow yellows pigment GGp 36.4% by weight paraffin oil 63.6% by weight Orange concentrate pigmented orange G 36.3% by weight paraffin oil 63.7% by weight The concentrate prepared in this way was fed to the hopper of the extruder using a dosing device, through a funnel drilled in the side wall an opening positioned 5 cm from the base of the hopper, in which a dispensing tip of 10 mm in diameter was placed horizontally to the base of the extruder. The dispensing tip outlet was in the center of the hopper. Such a mounting of the dispensing tip allowed for the even collection of the liquid concentrate by the moving material into the extruder screw and the mixing of the coloring concentrate with the plastic. The amount of the applied concentrate was selected experimentally depending on the desired degree of coverage. In the case of dyeing black plastic (PE) intended for the production of garden foil with a thickness of 0.16 mm, with an extruder output of 50 kg / h, 3 kg of 11% concentrate / h were dosed. Patent method of continuous dyeing of plastics with liquid concentrates in the process of extrusion or injection, characterized in that the dyeing concentrate consists of color pigments in an amount of 10 to 50% by weight mixed with oily substances with a boiling point higher than the processing temperature of the plastic in an amount of 90 to 50% by weight is introduced by means of a dosing device into the hopper of an extruder or injection molding machine at a height of 5 to 20 cm from the bottom of the hopper.
