The essence of the invention consists in that the ball of the joint is composed of segments in the shape of sections of a ball with a through hole for the pin. The front surfaces of the segments, after they are seated on the pin, are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pin. The segments are ribbed. The advantage of the ball of the joint according to the invention is that it can be made by means of plastic processing or by punching and then calibrating, which reduces the wear of the material while maintaining the strength and utility properties.
