Patent claim A method of producing collagen material from raw material of animal origin, especially leather, characterized in that the raw material is crushed separately in at least two different processes, and in one of these processes the raw material is acidified to a pH value of 2.5 to 3.5 and hydrates from 85 / $ to 96 $, crushed with a chopper with a screen with holes about 20 millimeters in diameter, defibrated using grooved rolls, filtered through a sieve with holes about 1 mm in diameter and cooled in the temperature from 275 to 280 K, while in the second process the raw material is acidified to a pH value from 2.5 to 3.5, it is hydrated from 85 to 96 $, it is crushed repeatedly by grinding on a crusher with screens used sequentially according to decreasing holes with diameters of about 20 mm, 10 mm, 2 mm and each cooling down at a temperature of 275 to 280 Kf are filtered successively through sieves with holes with diameters of about 1 mm and about 0.8 mm, then cooled at a temperature of 275 to 280 K, then the materials obtained from at least two processes are combined with each other, acidified to a pH value of 2.5 to 3.5 and hydrated from 89 to 96 $, and then homogenized in the mixer for about 2 hours, then it is cooled at a temperature of 275 to 280 K, filtered through a slit sieve with a gap of 0.2 to 0.5 mm, then the material is formed into a casing in a known manner and stored in this form at a temperature of 275 to 280 K for at least 48 hours.
