Zewnętrzne warstwy otaczające powierzchnię czołową płytek ceramicznych (3) oraz krawędzie boczne warstw (1, 2, 3) jak również część powierzchni spodniej kompozytu stanowi powłoka zabezpieczająca składająca się z siatki wzmacniającej (4) oraz zewnętrznej powłoki antyodpryskowej (5) w postaci pojedynczego arkusza jednostronnego preimpregnatu paraaramidowego o wzmocnieniu z tkaniny paraaramidowej.Ballistic armor contains a fiber composite constituting the bottom layer (1) in the form of a plate connected to a sheet of armor sheet (2) with high ballistic resistance, which in turn is attached with a layer of ceramic tiles (3). The outer layers surrounding the front surface of the ceramic tiles (3) and the side edges of the layers (1, 2, 3) as well as part of the bottom surface of the composite consists of a protective coating consisting of a reinforcing mesh (4) and an external anti-spatter coating (5) in the form of a single-sided sheet para-aramid impregnate with reinforcement of para-aramid fabric.
