Turbina ma wał łożyskowany w oprawie osadzonej na górnym końcu masztu, którego dolny koniec utwierdzony jest w bloku fundamentowym. Pylony (4) wirnika (2) są sztywno połączone współosiową obręczą (6) o średnicy w zakresie od 30 do 40% średnicy okręgu zakreślanego przez zewnętrzne krawędzie pylonów (4).
