Description

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób odmiedziowania zuzli, zwlaszcza z procesów zawiesino¬ wych w hutnictwie miedzi.Znane sa sposoby odmiedziowania zuzli z procesów zawiesinowych metoda redukcji w piecu elektrycznym z dodatkiem koksiku. Przyklad. Zuzel z pieca zawiesinowego, o zawartosci 12-15% miedzi, posiadajacy tempera¬ ture okolo 1250°C wprowadza sie do oporowego pieca elektrycznego w ilosci 240 ton. Do pieca wprowadza sie równiez koksik w ilosci 3% w stosunku do ilosci przerabianego zuzla. W temperatu¬ rze okolo 1450°C zachodzi proces redukcji zuzla. Nastepuje zbieranie i koagulacja pozostalych wyredukowanych drobnych czasteczek miedzi. Na dnie pieca gromadzi sie stop o skladzie: 85% Cu, 10% Fe, 5% Pb, natomiast zuzel zawierajacy okolo 0,5% miedzi stanowi produkt odpadowy.Zastrzezenia patentowe 1. Cena 100 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method of copper removal from slurry processes in copper metallurgy. There are known methods of copper removal from slurry processes by reduction in an electric furnace with the addition of coke breeze. It is known, however, that fine, highly dispersed copper particles have a negligible deposition rate, and therefore remain in the bed, causing losses of this metal. In order to reduce these copper losses at the end of the reduction process, various coagulating additives are used, such as pig iron, cast iron, nitrogen, among others, which act as a collector that collects dispersed reduced copper particles as they pass through the bed layer to the alloy. These additives, however, constitute an additional ballast in the process, which is not recovered. It has surprisingly been found that the copper content in the slag can be significantly reduced by introducing into the copper-copper reduction method, the addition of metallic copper or its alloys. The amount of the added additive depends on the degree of copper dispersion in the slug. The addition of copper to the furnace is introduced in a solid or liquid form, the most preferred form is copper in a granular form. Copper addition in the range of 1-15% in relation to the mass of the reduced component. makes it possible to achieve a copper content in the waste slag of about 0.5%. Due to the fact that this additive has the physical and chemical properties of the reduced metal, it is not an additional ballast in the process but is fully recovered. It also does not adversely affect the wear of the lining, as well as it does not require increasing the process temperature in relation to the technology used. The method according to the invention is explained in more detail by an example. 240 tons of slag from the flash furnace, having a copper content of 12-15% and having a temperature of about 1250 ° C, is introduced into the resistance electric furnace. A coke breeze is also introduced into the furnace in the amount of 3% in relation to the amount of slag processed. At a temperature of about 1450 ° C, the process of reduction of the slag takes place. There is a reduction of cuprous oxide to metallic copper and a partial detachment of larger copper particles. At the end of this process, 2 120 304 copper granules are uniformly distributed over the entire surface of the reduced bed in the amount of 3 tons / 50 t of the reduced bed. The remaining reduced copper particles are collected and coagulated. At the bottom of the furnace, an alloy with the following composition is collected: 85% Cu, 10% Fe, 5% Pb, while the slug containing about 0.5% of copper is a waste product. Patent claims 1.
