Description
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest katoda do plazmotronu z utleniajacym gazem roboczym.Dotychczas w plazmotronach pracujacych w atmosferach gazów utleniajacych stosowano elementy ka¬ todowe z koncówka z wkladka cyrkonowa przewaznie chlodzona woda. W rozwiazaniach tych koncówki katod posiadaja wkladki cyrkonowe w ksztalcie stozka lub w postaci ostrza wystajacego ponad plaska powierzchnie miedzianych koncówek.Wada dotychczas stosowanych rozwiazan byly duze ubytki wkladek cyrkonowych powodowane niedo¬ statecznie intensywnym odprowadzaniem ciepla z koncówki.Celem wynalazku jest unikniecie wyzej wymienionych niedogodnosci i konstrukcja koncówki katody, której istota polega na tym, ze obudowana koncówka wkladka cyrkonowa na swej roboczej powierzchni posiada wglebienie, najkorzystniej w postaci czaszy kulistej.Korzystnym skutkiem wynalazku jest poprawienie intensywnosci chlodzenia koncówki i wkladki katody, co w konsekwencji wielokrotnie zwieksza zywotnosc wkladki.Katoda plazmotronu wedlug wynalazku sklada sie z korpusu koncówki miedzianej chlodzonej inten¬ sywnie woda, zamocowanej rozlacznie na korpusie i wcisnietej lub wcisnietej i zalutowanej w koncówce wkladki cyrkonowej, którajest obudowana koncówka. PLThe subject of the invention is a cathode for a plasmatron with an oxidizing working gas. Until now, plasmatrons operating in oxidizing gas atmospheres used cathode elements with a tip with a zirconium insert, usually cooled with water. In these solutions, the cathode tips have zirconium inserts in the shape of a cone or in the form of a blade protruding above the flat surface of the copper tips. The disadvantage of the solutions used so far was large losses of zirconium inserts caused by insufficiently intense heat dissipation from the tip. The purpose of the invention is to avoid the above-mentioned inconvenience and cathode tips, the essence of which consists in the fact that the cased tip of the zirconium insert has a recess on its working surface, preferably in the form of a spherical bowl. The advantageous effect of the invention is to improve the cooling intensity of the tip and cathode insert, which in consequence increases the life of the insert many times over. The invention consists of a body of a copper tip cooled intensively with water, mounted detachably on the body and pressed or pressed and soldered in the end of a zirconium insert, which is housing the tip. The insert has an indentation on its working side, most preferably in the form of a spherical cap. Claims 1.
