Known conveyor belt damage detection devices are equipped with sensors positioned under the conveyor belt which, upon contact with a belt cut element, turn off the drive motor of the conveyor. The disadvantage of these devices is that they practically only work when the element causing the tape cut passes to the other side of the tape. There are also devices which use steel cables embedded in the tape as electrically conductive elements. These devices only work when a cutting element cuts the cord. Conveyor belt detecting devices are also known that require additional elements such as conductive circuits, magnets or coils to be incorporated into the belt. The task of these elements is to transfer signals from the transmitter to the receiver. The incorporation of additional elements into the tape hinders the technology of making the tape and significantly increases its cost. An additional inconvenience is the low durability of the elements embedded in the belt due to their frequent bending. The device for detecting damaged conveyor belt is equipped with three cylindrical weavers wound on their cylindrical surface along the screw line with a steel belt, placed on the axes, connected to each other by a garland, the cylindrical idlers are rotatably mounted on the axes, and moreover, inside the idlers there are switches for the conveyor drive and, additionally, inside the conveyor belt located under the central part of the conveyor belt, springs are placed, supported on the offset on the axis of the conveyor. When the conveyor belt is cut, the steel belt is cut on one of the cutters, it enters the cut, and further rotational movement of the cutter causes its displacement along the axis and thus the actuator's drive switch is activated.
